First sketches were made in January 2013. I stopped working on it since 11th January 2013. Now it’s January 29th, 2014 and I finished it (and I'm not quite happy). I’ve got permission to use THIS  photo as a reference for painting

I bet they're really enlightening. In that, I mean you learn a lot about colors and lighting and textures and the like.

Yes, indeed.

But in this one I don't feel I've learned that much. I wasn't creative enough and stayed with same lazy tehcnique instead experimenting.
