Not really sure what to expect on this evening. I had the free time and I haven't been out much so I just grabbed my gear and went to a familiar spot. This was around the beginning of sunset and the dark layer of cloud overhead seemed to enhance this yellow glow of the sinking sun. The light felt a little different. There were gaps within the large overcast where the sky would paint the land in drab and with the bright glow of the horizon it seemed to melt into a unique blend.
