~~~Another gradient-shaded commission! This time for GrowlTiger of FA - he's so purr-ty! ^^
But seriously, this was awesome big cat practice, and he turned out really well! Tigers are gorgeous creatures to begin with, and with the gradient shading, it really brings out the golden hues of the coat.
Since I don't draw big cats too often, constructive criticism is welcome! Commissions are still being offered in this style.

This one is awesome!! However, the back legs seem a bit long to me, making him appear more human-like.
Otherwise, I do the love the color (and variation) of orange for both the body and background.

Wow, love the artwork, very shiny. Tigers are always beautiful, and this one is no exception.
Two questions/observations: First, I want to know the story behind the chain around his neck, and second, the relative lengths of the fore and hind legs makes me think that this is an anthro tiger on all fours; not sure if that's what you were going for.

Thank you! ^^ The chain around his neck is the symbol of his relationship with his master, a lion. And it's funny that you mention that the long limbs look almost anthro, because a few of the refs that were sent to me showed GrowlTiger himself in his tiger suit on all fours, so I had that in the back of my mind while also trying to go for a realistic tiger. ^^
Also, I'm more used to drawing dragons and gryphons with long, angular legs, so that probably had something to do with it too, haha.
