~~~Part 3/3 of a commission set for , this last one being a flat coloured Build-Your-Own Reference Sheet of her quetzal character, Aratina!
Quetzals are so cool, and this gal is always a pleasure to work on! Her design is really neat, and it's a treat to work with such a unique species. I liked making her really realistic with all the details and whatnot, and holy tail poof, Batman.

There's a BIG difference. Wyverns' arms are their wings, and they have hind legs. This gal has arms and wings and zero hind legs.

Coatls are pretty cool design-wise and you don't see Coatl chars as much as those from other dragon types.

OMFG you made Aratina so amazing and realistic! I really love how you made the pink luster in her fur and how her wings are so huge. You always drew her so better then anyone else I ever seen! I still have the sketch you made me and love it to death! The Aztec brushes are so cool! Thanks so much for dealing with me and making her amazing! I hope now no one will mess her up!
