Cell Shaded Ultimate Reference Sheet Commission for Rave_The_Husky of DeviantArt featuring his gryphon fursona, Flame!

Phew, what a cute, fiery guy! All the text was provided by myself, and I wanted to play off his design a bit and how young he is. Super fun to work on, I love his colours! I also played with some different cell shading techniques for feathers that I think worked out really great!

In other news, I've been trying to make my feathers 'bigger' on my critters. Mainly because I went to a zoo recently, and a turkey buzzard in particular was striking with just how BIG some of his scapulars and even coverlets were. Because a creature is bigger, it's feathers would have to be bigger as well, not just made of fewer, smaller feathers, like I feel I've been drawing my wings. I still think I need to make them bigger yet.
