I was trying to find a stamp like this. I was surprised I couldn't find any. .-.I can't fathom how many times I've spent days and weeks and forever's time on an art trade, and then they go and bullshit their half or don't do it at all. I've had to wait over a year for things sometimes, and still are. I'm not expecting trades to be done in a few days or weeks, I know how it feels, you can't stay pinned on art, or at least one piece, but seriously, over a year?
If I'm going to spend 7 hours on a picture, don't spend 5 minutes. Some of my best pieces were art trades, and a lot of the time I get a quickly colored sketch in return, or with some, nothing at all yet. :/ It really gets on my nerves, that's why I stopped taking as many art trades. I get gypped, and then the people forsake me and play the lying game saying "What art trade?" and other variants.
I'm not going to point fingers, I'm just speaking my mind.
It's...a pet peeve. Also the reason why I specify my art trades a bit. I mean, in exaggerated comparison, would you really trade a Da Vinci or something for a stick figure?
That's how it feels some time, just in simplified standards.
Feel free to say your thoughts, but hopefully you understand the point of mine.
I used MS paint for this since I don't have any decent programs. If anyone wants to make a prettier version, lemme know. Just don't like...take the stamp verbatim and call it yours. :I

I once had a trade where the person wouldn't submit their part 'til I did mine. Which is understandable. It took me forever to do their half because I like to make my art the best it can be, whether it be commissions, requests, or trades. Needless to say, I created a fully coloured picture and the person loved and said they'd post their half soon. They posted it a few days later and it was a freaking scribble. They didn't even try to colour it. 8|

I know. :c I was recently in an art trade, and they didn't work much on their end, and I was tempted to BS my end because of it, But I was too nitpicky to do that, so the only thing I did was mess up the leg anatomy, but that's the most I'd ever let myself get away with. ;3;
And then I sent them a note, I commented on their half, faved it . . .
And they read the note, but didn't comment, or didn't even bother to FAVE it. It's like they just didn't care. :1 I'd much rather have my work appreciated for the effort I put into it. I mean, I know, I'm on a really low skill level and all but really. D:

I know. They just sketched it on paper, line arted it, and it looked almost like they used the burn tool sloppily. They put in the description it was sai, but it looked more like extremely lazy photoshop work. Because all my art is purely on sai. ;3;

Six or seven hours into it. Even though I started mine after getting their end. Which I pretty much always do, because I make sure they do their piece before I do mine. Since I wanna be SURE I'll get their part in return for mine. >:1
Only times I forget things are when they're requests, and I get suddenly overloaded with them. Which is why I always say 'I may not do yours.' when taking requests. <|D;
And then I was doing an art trade once, a year or so ago, but never finished my piece because I found out the person was just making carbon copies of better art from here on DA.
So that killed my motivation to finish. XD;; Since I was working soooo hard on it.

Isn't that nice of them |: I really don't like it when it's obvious that they didn't put much into when you look at one or two other pieces side by side.
I usually do my trade halves before the other gets them done, unless they're like, /express/ artists that do it quickly, and well xD It really just makes me not want to post it, or not do it at all :/

And I wouldn't have either, but it was a trade on Sketchfu, where there's a drawing canvas on site, and you can only save it by pressing publish, which puts it in your gallery for everyone to see. So I just got so far until I found out what they were doing, so then I was like 'Whatever.'

Well, I'm trying out a bunch of new styles I wanna try, so my coloring style changes constantly. XD
Anyway, so yeah, It sort of sucks they had to do that.
But yeah, I'm on that website daily. XD But it's a really small website, so it's solemnly heard of. I wish more real artists would join it though. >|U Because too many people use it as like either a dating site, or facebook. It's an art site with recognition from the wrong type. D: So yeah. More people that'd actually DRAW should join. >A<
