Imagine trying to pull out of a T-junction with poor visibility in *this* !

I was flicking through last year's diary recently, and came across a few old sketches I'd done whilst bored at school, some of which I decided deserved a proper drawing, so added them on the 'to draw' list.

This was one such sketch. My vision of what the Batmobile might have looked like if it were built by Audi.

The main inspiration being the 1989 batmobile (my favourite) and 'obvious audi features'. Quite ironic but the main inspiration on the audi side isn't even a real car, but one of my older concepts for an audi, the A9 ([link] )
Also, though very slightly, the side skirt/exhaust thingy is sort of inspired by the TVR Cerbera Speed 12.

Another thing I like about this drawing is that it's one of the very few cars drawings which, despite having plenty of inspiration, was drawn completely from my head - what I mean is usually, I'll copy a drawing from a photo of a real car. When I draw modified cars, or make my own concepts, I still do a sketch of the basic shape of a very similar car from a photo before personalising it and modifying the shape - to make sure the perspective's not dodgy if nothing else. This one on the other just came straight onto paper, nothing to look at, and to be honest I'm quite happy with how the front/top view came out, considering...
