It's not all me though - part of it is, when looking for a good picture to copy from, finding one that shows off the vehicle/person at a good angle, with a nice background.

At first I thought the design looked hinky when I saw Phantom Menace, then The Clone Wars showed how awesome the ship flies in combat. The new Pelta-class frigates also looks and flies awesome.

I like them Looks like a predecessor to the blockade runner.
The pelta-class are cool, too. I was just thinking how funny it is that the designs evolve so much between episodes 1 and IV ; yet when you play KOTOR (which admittedly apparently isn't much like the KOTOR comics) the ships bear a striking resemblance to the prequel trilogy - obviously not a lot has happened to ship design in the first 4000 years of the star wars timeline lol
