A lot of talk going around the gaming community about what game is better, infamous or prototype?Well I love them both so here is some quick fanart of the two main characters duking it out.

I disagree. As a fan of both games, I can say that in my opinion, Cole, whether good or evil, has several advantages over Alex. For this argument, I'll be using the "weaker" good version of Cole.
Firstly, Cole will have an easier time recharging than Alex. Whether this fight takes place in the infamous world or in the Prototype world, Cole will be able to recharge by draining any nearby light poles, generators, tvs, and any other sources of electricity. Alex can only recharge by consuming people, and once a fight breaks out between these titans of power, most if not all people in the area will panic and run away, giving Alex limited chances to recharge.
Second, Cole's greatest feat of destructive power trumps Alex's greatest feat of survivability. Alex survived getting caught in a nuclear explosion and was able to regenerate. However, Cole has fought the Beast, who took a nuke directly to the face and was still able to cause massive destruction. And in their final battle, Cole pulverized the Beast until it couldn't even move anymore, giving Cole enough destructive potential to get past Alex's stubborn regenerative abilities.
Third, Cole has faced opponents just as deadly, if not more so, than the heaviest hitters Mercer has killed. From Kessler who is literally Cole from the future, to Bertrant the monster maker that turns into a godzilla style kaiju, to again, the Beast. While many of Alex's opponents are plenty powerful in their own right, they don't quite scale to the things Cole has killed.
Fourth, it's a common thought that Alex would win because Cole doesn't have a way to put him down, but that's just not true. Because his healing power can be worn down with enough damage (as shown when Heller killed him when a nuke couldn't), and Mercer was killed by being consumed, and Cole has Bio Leech which works very much the same.
I'm not trying to downplay Alex here, he has plenty of advantages of his own. Alex is better in up close combat, has more versatile weapons, and has a much better healing factor than Cole. However, Cole with his better long range arsenal, the fact that the lightning bolts he shoots are faster than anything Mercer has avoided, and he had the destructive potential to keep up with Multi-City level threats like the Beast, is simply better equipped to take Mercer down.

Cole wins.
It's true, Mercer is quite the juggernaut, but here is the thing, he has a weakness towards electricity and cold. Cross, a well trained man was capable of stunning Mercer with just a taser, can you just imagine, what Cole's electricity would do to Mercer? Then there is the fact, Mercer's bio mass is tissue, hence his two weaknesses and before you think Mercer could fool Cole with his shapeshifting, WRONG! Mercer's shapeshifting would be useless as Cole's radar pulse would detect that it is Mercer, giving Mercer's chance of fooling Cole down the drain.
In the end, it's Cole that comes out on top.

Nice job, best VS. picture I've seen. I beat inFAMOUS being good and then being evil... It's awesome both ways. I played some Prototype at a friends how and it was fun, but based on most reviews inFAMOUS is the better game. If you have a PS3 it's a must have.

Also my opinion on that matter has not changed. Infamous has been remembered by the majority as the superior game, regardless of individual opinions. I have not played Prototype, and probably never will because I have since moved on to new things so I'm in no place to conduct a debate on what I think is the 'better' game.

I would say to that, even so, it's still an opinion regardless if more people like it. I do think though InFamous has a better open world system, better side activities, better cast of characters, and a better story then Prototype. In Prototype, aside from Alex and Cross, most of the game's cast is entirely forgettable to me, some who you think had some form of importance don't return for the majority of the game. The world is pretty dead in Prototype, even with being infected, most of the npcs are generic copy and pastes, the side activities, while fun I don't think were as substantial as the side quests in InFamous.
Yet I find Prototype to be the much better game, why? Because it's a god damn fun to dick around open world with much better combat. I still find hijacking helicopters in mid air with the whipfest fun to this day, I can lay down some serious carnage with my arm blade, or infiltrate an army base disguised as a soldier and use a move call patsy on someone to make the other soldiers think he's Alex Mercer.
Even though I called it a weak story, Prototype has a pretty neat thing called web of intrigue, where you can consume certain people and experiences their memories, giving backstories to things in the game.
Also, Alex Mercer is just more interesting then generic bald guy Cole Macgrath in my view, XD Until he went full mustache twirling evil in Prototype 2.
So yeah uh, you don't have to debate me, that's fine, I always thought Prototype was a much better game all these years, you're not gonna change my mind on it, and vice versa. Even if a game is considered better by many, doesn't mean it actually is since those are, again, personal tastes. I'm always up for a good rationale discussion if you want to though, that's up to you.
Also just because I find Prototype much better then InFamous, it doesn't mean InFamous is a bad game, on the contrary, I already stated it does alot of things better then Prototype, so I think its a pretty good game to.

Where your choices are as hollow as Prototype's own open world, Prototype has the better combat and main character in my view.

They both look pretty cool to me, I don't know story wise though.
He has gotten Time Crisis 4 for 40$ somehow with the gun. It's actually pretty fun although I wished they would make bigger guns.
I remember he was telling me of a Game that will come out soon with a pair of Nightvision headset, I forgot what the name of the game was.

Why is it these two game that are suddenly being compared?
It's like comparing Halo and BioShock. They have thier simmilarities, but they're completly different games!

Yeah, I didn't really get all the comparisons at first, but when you think about it, they're both free roaming games in which the protagonists have super powers, and they both came out just a few weeks apart, so people wanted to know which one was better so they knew what to buy.
