I noticed had done one of these ( [link] ) so I decided to follow suit for shits n giggles. Oh man do I feel embarrassed about the old stuff, especially since theres a far greater volume of it, I stopped scanning as much stuff in once I actually started to seriously improve.

K, broken down-

Figure-

2003- some elf girl thing squished onto the paper with horrible lineart. The amount of crap on her outfit is kind of obscuring her terrible anatomy XD
2005- ok, its a malformed android, but you get the drift.

ALH

I could do a whole one of these just on ALH, both of em, theyve been a mirror of improvement since i've been drawing them since I started to put more of an effort into drawing.

With every fresh iteration she seems to get a makeover, mainly through trying to figure out her anatomy since she isnt really based on any specific animal. The wings are pretty much gone now too,save for remniscance.

Human version I've did this kind of thing for a million times so I cant be bothered to do it again, so I picked out 2 with a link, in this case..sitting.
The anatomy on the newer one is warped for the sake of it so this probably isnt the BEST comparison for improvement,but meh

Bird creatures

Every now and then i seem to do one of these. Improvement is tasty.

Red Xii

Ditto here. I do a Red every now and then for sakes of compariosn. I'm not really a big fan of FF7 but i like Red xiii. He looked really,really stupid in advent children. I always see him as being much more imposing.
First one isnt a copy of the squaresoft art, but it was prolly referenced a couple of times. Second one was a speedy drawing, like a minute or something. I havent a clue how long the first one took, not a minute XD.

Digi Paint

Probably an unfair section since I'm comparing stuff done using expensive graphics equiptment with stuff done with a ball mouse on a crappy windows 98 pc that couldnt even run photoshop

First guy mouse, second thing graphire,both in paint shop pro.Final dood intous3 and painter ix. Even if i had a tablet and painter when i did the first guy he still would have turned out crappy, i mean thats my version of cel shade, i had no clue whatsoever XD.
