Description
Hopefully fans of Final Fantasy VII will get this. For the benifit of everyone else:In the original FFVII there was a set of optional super bosses, the WEAPONs. This picture is based on the premise of 'what happens if the player didn't defeat them', would they still be around for Cloud and Sephiroth's show down in the movie sequel Advent Children?
I'm thinking of doing something quick like this once a week (nows the time to talk me out of it). A series picking holes in the beloved FF games, taking things to seriously that shouldn't be and over thinking things. Suggestions are more than welcome. Quick, half hour sketch.

I can just see one of those bursting the middle of the fight...

Yes it is actually pretty canon that the weapons are destroyed sometime before or after the end of ff7 not that it even matters since their existence in general is for america lol. But I love this idea. The creators must have just gotten lazy with the cgi witch is why they made b the only big monster in the whole movie lol.

I believe it's only Ruby and Emerald which were added to the US version and future versions. There still would have been the others as they are pretty big plot points.
I still would not say cannon though, rather assumed knowledge. I don't think the team doing Advent Children got lazy. It's probably that it would have been pointless to have extra battles against gaint creatures. It really wouldn't have added anything to the plot.

Lol, this makes a good point. Good thing I killed them though, or Advent Children would be REALLLY messed up...

See I never got around to beating any of the WEAPONs. (I tend to give up on beating the super bosses- although I did get a fair way through the Dark Aeons of FFX).

It was more a case of priorities. I focused on getting the master materia set (but er only got the 'command' one). Mind you I clock a lot more hours in X than any other individual FF game.

It's funny, good thought to it... Buuuutttt I'd say the picture has to be clearer. The graphics are what makes comic strips. It has to be clearer and understandable, I'd say.. Otherwise, awesome! ^^

Yes I agree about the messyness. But it was only ever inteneded as a sort of speedpaint. If I wind up with enough of these I may end up redoing the best jokes.
