“With life evolving from living off T.Y.P.H.O.N’s body, none are as fearsome as the H.Y.D.R.A. Eunice multacapitibus is species related to that of Polychaete worms such as Bobbit Worms. Unlike their smaller cousins, the HYDRA has evolve to grow to gargantuan proportions likely due to the immense thermal energy from TYPHON’s body. HYDRA earned their namesake from the species posses multiple independent heads, likely from a generic mutation long ago that prove beneficial to the species. And like that of all Annelids, the HYDRA is able to regenerate severed body part (including their heads which are known to be replace by pair.) The pair of jaws of the creature are able to generate over 2,000 psi, easily able to slice through car. Despite their horrific appearance, like their Bobbit Worm relatives, the HYDRA possess an iridescent carapace.”

With each of creatures from TYPHON, I had to make them Greek mythological theme to fit in with the actual Typhon’s title of “Father of All Monsters” which the Hydra was an offspring of Typhon and Echidna. Obviously for the design I thought of a snake or even a eel type design but then I thought back to Bobbit worms, which are terrifying in real life with their large jaws that drag fish into their hole. And they are pretty long worms too, so now imagine one the size of a two story house and with multiple heads.
