The creature hasn't killed anyone except for soldiers so far, and actually said not to kill the surviving scientist. The robot is the one who killed the "innocent" scientist who was conducting invasive experiments without any anesthetics and used the other as a shield. Also, the fact that the Tau are the least evil faction in the canon is meant to be depressing.

Personally I do not think that Tau are grimdark assholes. quite on the contrary actually, I think that they are amongst the nicest people in 40k.
Plus that the alien there will be swarmed by vespids that will tear the armor open (yes, vespids have claws that can sever concrete and rip plasteele to shreds) and kroot that will hack and slash him to bits from behind. (see it pays off to have friends)

Oh! And wile I'm still going, how can space marines, with the same armor value as a fortified bunker, be able to maneuver, run and jump around the battlefield like freaking ninjas! (consult ultramarines the movie www.ultramarinesthemovie.com/trailer / I don't understand how to insert links) I would be very thankful if someone could actually explain that to me once and for all. Oh! And don't refer to that thing about their armor being connected to their spines, that still doesn't help very much to carry two tons worth of armor plating.

If you read the codex it actually explains how.
The Black Carapace, along with their other augmentations, gives them extreme strength. Add in the fact that Power Armor is powered on its own, thus being able manuever itself, and the reasoning is pretty damn simple.

Yes, well I am aware that the servomotors in the armor are very effective, yet it still weighs like, two tonnes, making it extremely cumbersome to WEAR and to CARRY. And even if the space marines are strong they will be extremely weighed down by their suits of armor, greatly reducing their effectivity in combat. Although I suppose that it's a thing you're not supposed to question, but rather just assume to make sense. Anyway, I was mostly just blowing off steam over my HATE for these GW Wesley's. Just ignore me.

Bleh, I liked the Tau better before GW tried making them out as grimdark assholes like everyone else in 40k. Anyway, it warms my heart to see the xenos get their smurf asses handed to them!

Well Tau are still the least grimdark race in the whole game (next to Orks. Yes I think the orks are also not-so-Grimdark.) But they're still assholes either way.
