Okay, I finally got my hands on that damn Wii just last week (prior to posting this) and thus was able to play my copy of Twilight Princess which I had since last year long before I got the damn Wii. Anyway I smoked it in like a few hours under two days (total clocked game time) and after all was said and done two things became apparent to me;
1.) Twilight Princess is the best LoZ I have played, period.
2.) I am officially a Midna fan^-^.

The latter of course being the reason I busted out this piece you see now.

Here we have Link and Midna enjoying a nice day on the beach. Link's just chillin' like a villain while Midna just sits there silently crushing on him (as usual^-^). At first I didn't quite have Midna's design accurate, but once I got a picture of her printed out I was able to fine tune the details and I am so glad I did.

I was in total coloring hell with both Midna and Link, in fact the whole piece was a bitch to color. The hardest parts were trying to match the semi-black portions of Midna's body to where it looks accurate to the actual Midna from the game and choosing which green I had on hand that would look the closest to the cool green he now sports in TP. In the end I'm pleased with the results. Normally I would outline the details with a ball-point pen as I have done with my previous pieces, but this time I just stuck with a basic No.2 pencil.

Now as far as the setting, I wanted to have a little cameo appearanvce by a certain trio from the beginning. To that end I decided to have the setting on Destiny Island and feature that same tree from that one scene in KH1 that I'm sure you KH fans have commited to memory. Now since this is a piece focusing on Link and Midna, those three cameos (sadely) are bit crudely drawn...

Y'know what would be really cool? A LoZ/KH crossover game, if only^-^...
