So I watched the short released today, and while I would have liked to see other mercs get more attention than Scout and his love life (and I'm not very keen on Scout/Pauling so there's that
), I am LOVING this Miss Pauling model and her pretty green eyes. It doesn't seem like the same one used in a few comics, but maybe I'm wrong, we'll see! (Also, she's voiced by HAWP's Ash. That's pretty cool.) Hopefully this model will be released by Valve officially for this update - but if not, I always have a backup plan.

I feel like there needs to be a middle ground between Rebeccus's original model and the Valve model. Because personally I feel like her model was much more accurate towards the comics but also sort of made her look a bit older. While Valve's model makes her look like a cute little babby, which plays well for a woman who is supposedly used to pulling teeth out of mouths of corpses. (An odd contrast >> )

I have two skins for her currently; one with this outfit and another with a dress that more resembles the comics. I kind of like the proportions of Rebbacus' model as well; every now and then I'll enlarge the hands and the head just slightly enough to match her Expiration Date model.

I personally think this looks better than the official model, because from the screenshots that I've seen from her (Yeah, I still need to watch Expiration Date.)...she looks so goddamn creepy. D: It's the eyes, man..and that face..

Her eyes are definitely bigger. Her facial structure is a lot more smaller than the comics. People have pointed out how she resembles Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite a lot.
I'm glad you like this a little more, even though I do like the model used in ED! I'll probably release it soon.

While there's plenty of criticism to go around on her models, I think there's always room for improvisation (as seen here). As for Rebbacus, I'm so glad for all the things she has given the community - she's working on End of the Line as well!

I hope that End of the Line has proper credits that run after the film is finished. Unlike Valve, who provide absolutely no credits. Could you please drop the suggestion that they put in proper credits at the end?

I am very certain they will. You bring up a very valid point on Valve not crediting any of their animators or modelers, however.

I'm still having problems trying to figure out who voiced the fried chicken girl in Expiration Date, and no one can officially confirm for me if Ashly Burch voiced her. I also can't seem to get official confirmation that Nolan North did one line for the Soldier. I don't suppose you have any special connections to Valve?

Yeah, I am glad to that this community has at least 2 dedicated resource modelers and animators (including Maxofs2d). Though the creation of more scenebuild props would be very helpful.
Ah, End of the Line, with all the people backing that project up, it's really looking to be the SFM community's biggest blockbuster production. At least, let's hope it lives up to the hype...
