How I colour characters etc...please download if you can't see it/ or it's slow!
I don't know if to call this a tutorial, so I couldn't settle between "I'm doing like this" and "You do like this" phrases XD

First off I don't get how you get such straight lines I can never do it ;-;
Second how do you blend the colors? What tool and everything? I try using the smudge tool or the blur tool and it doesn't turn out that good...

They're not really straight! 
I blend them with the brush tool. Just like painting on a canvas
to blend something, I choose colours varying between the original skin tone (light colour) and the shadow and then...just scratch the tablet a bit

It's not scratching, but just like you try to shade something on paper. I don't use the blur tool too much.

Thanks for sharing your tutorial, I make pratically the same thing for coloring except that I let the layers over the line and the skin under the others (because I love hair in the wind xD) but my results are not really like yours ^^ (I need a lot of practice). Just one question, which sort of brush do you use for the shading ? Arff, I have just seen the title...SAI. I use Photoshop...forget about the question.
(now I make the color on only one layer, I earn a lot of time, but I am in search of a quick/ efficient technic for coloring... so thanks again for your tutorial)
