Awesome work. I love this one alot. Robotech was definitely one of those shows that really defined anime back in the 80s. And to this day it continues to play a major role in influencing my imagination.

Admittedly, I've been more of a fan of the original Japanese Superdimension Fortress Macross series myself, but this illustration looks pretty kickass. It would be interesting to see it redone with DYRL-style character and mecha designs. Of course, that's just my opinion, which most people probably wouldn't share.
