I loooove it. I just re-watched all the macross saga on the remastered DVD's and I fell in love with it all over again...ok correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard that they were making a real-life movie of robotech with Toby Maguire as Rick. Please tell me if I imagined it.

I miss Robotech! I was very very young when I saw it in my home country and than when I moved to
the US and I started watching the other series and I loved it and I miss it, I want more and want everyone to see it.

It's the Macross saga of Robotech.
Get it straight... Robotech was made from three different Japanese shows: Macross (which kept it's name), Southern Cross (which was renamed Masters), and Genesis Climber Something-or-other (which was called New Generation). They were edited and re-dubbed to make one long 85 episode show.

One cool thing was when i was walking in the mall that same summer there was a 1.25m / 5 ft tall standee made out of it at the E B Games store. We had no idea that they were going to make it, so we went on Ebay and bought two of them. Apparrently they made like 500 of them.
