You can really sense the vigor and energy of the fire raging all through the house, or through what's left of it, here.
"Deliberate"? Do they think he set it himself? That's the last thing an old man would do; it's not like he has a lot of time to start over. Surely to God nobody in your neighborhood would actually do that to a poor old man? Any suspects yet?
I am curious now about what the investigation will reveal; those pictures won't be quite so dramatic, so you probably won't be posting them.

Fires have so much life in them. So much movement. It's why people stare at them so. Like a fish aquarium.

It was pretty scary... and exhilerating for the gawkers. It's something one doesn't see to often... like a bad car wreck. You hope everyone is fine... yet you can't take your eyes off it. Like staring into a bonfire... a hundred times bigger. Thank God the old man and his three dogs got out just fine.

There's a conspiracy theory going on in the neighborhood... not that we have all that many neighbors as we're way out in the country... but, nonetheless, there's suspicion that it might have been deliberate.
