It translates to something like "Gods will and Mine," the motto of the monarch.

YESSS. Sorry, I'm entirely obsessed with Anne Boleyn. Have been since I was a kid.

The expressions are wonderful! They made me laugh, and they keep to the animals' features without looking too human, but not so you can't tell what they portray. Nicely done!

it's interesting that anne's badge was a falcon, too. bird of prey, and very fitting.

God, how I love this! But you're right, their last years were something like this. Great job! Featured into our groups!

It seems most would have noted a lusty relationship between a raven and a lion wouldn't work out for a number of reasons. Who knew number one would be the issue of a son?

A very interesting concept. I am a bit embarrassed to admit it, but I do wonder why you pictured Anne Boleyn as a crow. Is there any special subtext/symbollism behind it?

She was known as the "black Crow", she was cynical, dark, witty, and sharp tongued

The idea is so extraordinary. I used to imagine Henry's wives as rather poor creatures who were unfortunate enough to be married to him, well, maybe except for the last one. However, here Anne Boleyn looks just as determined as her husband!
They look like a funny-creepy cameo portraits to me. I'll never get tired of your artwork
