Description
< FIRST - PREVIOUS - NEXT >The return of Aredon Bredrit from Issue 0. His service in the final days of the war and loyalty to the Emperor earned him a promotion to the General rank. However, he is a general in name alone. Sitting behind a desk doing paperwork or strategizing ain't his cup of tea, so he acts more like a soldier because at heart he will always be a soldier.
The events in this comic take place about 6 years after the events in Issue 0.

The Intrepid Series contains themes of war, violence, gang activity, death, PG-13 rated nudity/sex, adult language, and moderate amounts of gore (Gore NOT Vore… there‘s a difference. Rest assured that this comic does not contain Vore!). All pages with extreme mature content will be placed under a mature filter, but you should be able to understand the story without reading the few select pages. If you still have issues with any of these themes, then this is not the comic series for you. Instead of flaming, please hit the back button. The pageview is still appreciated.

Mmmm... yeah. You might want to read the disclaimer I have posted at the bottom of each submission. Mature content is somewhat expected in the war-time genre unless I wanted it to end up like GI Joe in Space. >_>
The comic does have a strong R rating and does deal with some pretty heavy subject matter in later issues but all 'mature' subject matter is only there to further the story along and will be placed under a mature filter so people who want to read the story but don't want to see such content can do so.
One SHOULD be able to get the jist of what's going on without viewing those pages.

So What Kind Of R Rated Material Are We Talking About Here?

Read the disclaimer. All of the mature content that the comic contains is listed there.
Bloodshed, mostly. But that's to be expected in a comic of wartime genre. Usually nothing TOO extreme... a blaster wound is normal. The rare times when something bigger does happen will be put under a mature filter.
This comic is about soldiers. Soldiers usually aren't known for having the cleanest of language because they tend to say things under stress. However, most cursing is done in alien languages both to add 'flavor' to the world and to keep things a little cleaner. There are a few curse words in English when more impact is needed, but those are very few and far between and will likely be under a mature filter when they appear.
There are themes of gang activity since many of the sections of the planet that were destroyed by the war are now slums overrun with criminals.
There are very mild scenes that hint at sex between lovers, but this never goes above a PG-13 rating.

Okay, Good Enough. I Did Read It, It All Said "PG-13", Thats Why I Asked About Your "Rated R" Statement.
Thank You For Clearing It Up, It Looks Like It Has A Great Start ^^
