The two followed the light, or as they discovered upon getting closer, lights, flames flickering on top of posts from what they could see, and something else, something they couldn't quite make out.

And noise. They heard noise. No. Chanting. Slow, low, near hypnotic chanting.

Elena switched off her flashlight as she and Amanda made their way through the alleys, not wanting to attract attention, the two swiftly taking cover behind some barrels, for a minute or two, they were happy to simply hide there, listening to the sound of droning and some sort of construction before finally deciding to sneak a peek at what was going on.

People working, placing some more of the fire lit posts they had spotted earlier, into certain spots in the ground, at ends of a symbol.

A symbol they had seen before.

A symbol now glowing in the dark.

A symbol that filled Elena and Amanda with dread
