Description
The Freedom Class New Republic Star Destroyer. In the aftermath of the Star Hawks forceful retirement. Old Star Destroyers in the reserves were rebuilt with SSD grade turbolasers and ion cannons replacing the old octuples while Mon Calamari shield and weapons pods were added to the Star Destroyer. The sides of the ship also saw the addition of 12 massive proton missile tubes and a hangar entrance. Inside the troop compartments were removed allowing the ship to carry 100 plus NR fighters. The bridge was replaced with a smaller bridge and more emphasis placed on the secondary bridges in the event of shield failure.
