Description
Oh my God, 85 in general, boy was this long to work with. Anyhow coming at Track 10 it’s Rejected Thomas Characters 10!
Roly, Annie and Clarabelle's Brother
Roly was brought on over to be part of Thomas' train, Annie and Clarabelle were pleased to see their brother again, Roly would have some misadventures of his own though as he got repainted without a mouth, had to wait for a raw sewage train to pass and of course his right to vote non-existent, poor Roly was demoted to shorts to entertain the masses before Project G-1 was released.
Barney the Trainasaur
Barney was a dinosaur that came from a child's imagination, when he was tall, he's what they called a dinosaur sensation. That is until one day, Barney got hit by a tractor trailer that nearly crushed him to death, he was hauled to Sodor where Victor, Kevin and Perdue were soon Bio-fusing Barney to save his life and made into a powerful tank engine, Barney retained his flexibility and his arms, able to move way better than the other engines, however as his dinosaur mentality got to him, he was soon trying to gobble up kids, sheep and cows left and right.
The C&B Barbershop Car
The barber decided to make his shop mobile as his business hit hard times, he made a deal with the Controller of Fat to use an old coach to do haircuts on the go, sounds great right? Never need to worry about finding a barber before going to work, now if bumps were not a problem.
Simmons the Workout Car
Simmons was created back in the 80's by the Diamond Gyms company to help people with exercise on the go, built with exercise bikes that connect to driving wheels which could help the locomotive go up hills, ventilation to air out the place and keep the stink out, he was brought over for passengers wanting a way to work out while riding, Simmons could practically be an engine if he wanted to, however the stink form exercising passengers didn't go out the rear vent as hoped for and stank up the trains he was in.
Covered Wagon Coach
Built for wagon trains during the Wild West, pulled by oxen from St. Louis to Oregon, this old coach carried settlers across the prairie, later to be used in other trains from the 1850's-1900's as it was later stuck in a museum and forgotten about, the coach was brought by Fatty Hatty for some kind of "Multi-Culture Exchange Event" where this coach was brought along for passengers to ride, passengers hated the ride as this coach had no springs and was quite a bumpy ride.
Passenger Troublesome Truck
From International Railways, Sir Topham Hatt bought some small "4th Class" coaches that were converted from trucks, designed to be for passengers who had little money, these little coaches fit a small group of people, shook and rattled, plus they were tight and small. Some of the little coaches soon operated in Troublesome Truck nature and biffed Edward down Gordon's Hill and into a McDonald's.
Sarah the Caterpillar Engine
Sarah was specially made to pull around tight corners in urban lines, built with a method of getting through her and her cars as she could pick up passengers and get them to work. Sarah was brought over to Sodor to pull passengers for Thomas' Branch Line, going back and forth on it, however due to Thomas' large ego, he started hitting on her and made her feel uncomfortable as she left the branch line for a different one.
Open Air Car
Built for passengers wanting fresh air, the Open Air car was built to suffice passengers, however smoke, leaves, dust among other things the engines smash into on a frequent basis kept flying in and making the place dirty.
Spiceford and Trailberg the Safety Coach with Escape Pod
This strange combination "Saftey Coach" made by the A.T.S.F., based on the trailers that farmers and cowboys put their horses and donkeys in. Spiceford and Trailberg were equipped with various safety tools, Fire extinguishers, Inflate-a-Boats, Heart Defibulator and even a escape hot air balloon were included. Their key feature was that with the pull of a lever, Trailberg can separate from Spiceford and then put on the brakes quickly as possible, allowing passengers to leave him if inescapable doom were to befall the train the duo were connected to. The duo were tested out on a express with Henry, Trailberg was to disconnect and stop right there, only he was not leaking air fast enough as he rammed back into Spiceford and broke each other.
Heraldo the Food Truck Diner Car
Helraldo along with several other kitchen coaches were made to head to different cities with rail access and operate like food trucks, having people come over to the station to try out all sorts of food. However Helaldo's Mexican meals were causing the population of Sodor to become fat and the Fat Controller ended up having to send Helaldo off because he made everyone looks like him.
Hayride Car
Inspired by Terrance pulling trailers full of hay at a local fair, The Fatt Troll had some old flatcars with gates and hay added, having them added to James' trains to let passengers have fresh air. Problem was like the open air car, smoke and dirt flying into passenger's faces.
The Safari Coach
Built for the Sodor Safari, these brand of coaches had couches inside for a comfortable ride through the safari and see the animals they had. The coaches were real good at comfort, however Emu's kept figuring out how to wonder inside and grab any food laying about and spooking customers, these coaches were soon replaced with cheaper cagelike models.
Philo the Mechanical Television Coach
Built back in the 20's Philo was made for passengers wanting to be able to watch tv while traveling, which meant building signal towers along railway lines, this would get passengers to use Philo while he was connected to trains around Sodor, having nice comfy seats, a good stereo system to boot, plus with the shows in color people saw Philo as the future. Philo had his tv set's power generated from a chain-link generator hooked to one of his bogies and powered his set, being able to show 20's programming back in the day. Sadly as regular television during the 30's arrived, 1939 was the final year for Philo as he ended up being put in a museum. However lucky for him the advent of Wi-Fi meant his competitors would die out as computers could entertain better. Who knows what will happen for Philo, maybe with 3-D effects and having Youtube and wi-fi linked in, he can ride again.
Eratos Angharad the 4-8-2 Streamlined Tender Engine
Part of the Knights of Sodor, Eartos often pulled private trains for the prince of Sodor, the engine would be ready to take the prince all over Sodor, racing around and keeping the island safe from evil mystical forces beyond our comprehension, often having special coaches for the job. He was planned in a upcoming special, but Mattel canceled it because they had the 50's anniversary movie for He-Man or something.
The Big Freight Engine from The Little Engine that Could
Bought from the Little Engine's line, he was meant to take care of Percy's duties while Percy was getting repairs, he didn't bother much to help any broken down engines or even help Gordon up his hill, he even saw James break down with a train of toys and refused to pull it as he believed that he pulled more important trains than for toys. James went ballistic and strangled him.
Mr. Cheese the Tripper Engine
Mr. Cheese was built in the Digital World for railroad warfare back in the day, used in tripping pirate trains over as he would chuff onto a track where they were bound to head and have them go up him and slide off into the air and crash off of the tracks. Mr. Cheese was recently spotted heading to Sodor from the Digital World, making his way through Vicarstown bridge and not stopping all the way to Tidmouth, clearly racing against time from the pirate engines after him. He was rejected due to lack of couplings and the fact he tripped any engine far from the tracks whenever he collided with any other engine.
Cranson the Dual-Piston Engine
Cranson was made with overhead and internal pistons for testing an engine that had "Fast" and "Slow" mode, his front pistons made for shunting speed for around yards, back ones for traveling between stations. Cranson was used for switching cars in Anopha quarry, sometimes pulling cars to Brendam Docks. Cranson was rejected after going in a mining tunnel and hitting a beam with his smokestack, having rocks cram his upper pistons and having him trying to leave and then getting buried inside the crumbling mine.
Rayveon the Cab-Forward Racing Engine
Rayveon was part of 2016's Great Race, he was made for racing specifically and racing alone, the only reason he had couplings for shunters to pull him around to save fuel. Reason for Rejection? Soccer Moms and feminists hated how he flirted with the female engines and cars and petitioned him out.
Jeepers the Skyway Propeller Engine
Jeepers was built for the Startrain railroad which took advantage of the Skyway system and other niche "Alternative" railroads, Jeepers was from the Digital World and was now part of the Real World expansion program to operate for humans instead of digimon, he was soon sent over to work with Hugo and take passengers to Ulfstead Castle even with the skyway system which allowed him to travel above and below the track, however a windy day hit Sodor as it blew Jeepers off the track on the Skyway as he was heading to the castle.
Earlsberg the Dump-Lorry
Earlsberg was a converted Lorry made by a hardcore gearhead who had plenty of money and time. Earlsberg was sent to pull some trains around to show how strong he was, the diesels and road characters liking him a lot, Bulgy tried to convince the rail lorry to biff engines off of their tracks and destroy them, Earlberg obeyed like a fool and ended up trying to biff Molly off of a unfinished bridge, Earlsberg was later hauled off the tracks after that and his owner fined.
H.M.L.-001 the Royal Escort Engine
This engine, His Majesty's Locomotive is owned by King Asgore Dreamurr of the Underground, the royal engine has duties like Spencer in pulling private trains for his owner and his family like a R.V. on rails. His duties often had him pulling his trains to the Duke and Dutchess' house while Asgore talked and drank tea with 'em. Hit refused to pay Tobyfox any money for footage of H.M.L.-001 and cut him out of any episode where he unintentionally was in.
Angelina the Repomotive
Angelina was made in a factory on the planet of Claudin, a super-communist world ruled by a cruel dictator. She was part of a series of Repoloids called "Repomotives" Mobains bio-fused with locomotives and cars, Locomotive types able to pull trains and be as strong as an regular engine with Rolling Stock repos made to storage things larger than themselves inside of 'em. The advantage of this was repomotives do not need much space, can operate off track and do anything like a human can, plus any powers from being part Mobain. Angelina was brought over to pull freight cars around and help Henry out, however parental groups saw her as "Too adult" and didn't want her filmed.
Slank the Slinky Engine
Slank was a experimental engine built for extreme flexibility on the tracks, able to pull trains around tight corners, Slank was brought over to Sodor to test him out, Slank would come over to the opening to a new station, that place was built a bit "Stair-Steppy" as Slank accidentally went too far on the buffers, heft his face slam down a floor as his cab swung down to another, going back and forth on face and back as he was fully clobbered on the street laying on his face.
The Black Demon
Built in Baldwin Locomotive Works, this engine was cursed by the Devil himself to cause chaos wherever the rails took him, The Black Demon would race around the Wild West, destroying trains and ramming them off the track, he came to Sodor to go after the engines, yet a switcherman who heard of him and had him go down Skiff's ramp to the ocean.
The Railed Silage Wagon
A wagon for Silage, Silage is the product of what happens when a farmer takes a special harvester to chop up (normally) corn or grass and the harvester blows it into wagons. These wagons are then pulled by truck or tractor to a silo (a large tower that can store it) or a pit. There it ferments and is taken out of incrementally to feed cows, pigs, or sheep, but this practice is most usually found on dairies. A famer in England (Yorkshire to be precise) wanted a way to carry chopped silage from his farm to sell because he had an excess of corn, but did not want to truck it into town. Therefore, he bought an old flatbed wagon from British Railways and grafted the body of one of his silage wagons onto it, and then it travelled around the Eastern Region of BR and even ended up in Kent somehow. He then sold it off and Sir Topham Hatt bought it at auction for a low price. The Yorkshire farmer who built this unique vehicle remains unknown. Rejected due to not many farmers planting crops in tracks.
Bort the Steam Turbine Automated Advertising "Ramune"-Class Engine
Bort was made in Japan as his name implied, pulling trains while advertising a product, Bort went about Japan from the late 40’s to the late 70’s until steam died out, Bort was soon bought by Sir Topham Hatt and taken to Sodor to help out with the growing workload while doing ads on his sides,
Brewster the BR Class 23/55 Hybrid, Koko the Chuggington Shinkasen and Wilson the Chug Patrol Diesel
Straight out of Chuggington, the Trainees are sent over to Sodor for more advanced training, Brewster, Koko and Wilson following Thomas around his branchline and helping him in his trains. The three chuggers were supposedly going well yet Wilson and Brewster got bumped by the Troublesome Trucks down Gordon’s Hill and were derailed.
Treadmill Truck
This is a truck which allows narrow gauge engines to travel on standard gauge tracks. However, they are barely strong enough to move the truck, let alone standard gauge rolling stock.
Mobile Coal Hopper
It was thought to be a good idea, yet it looked so unwieldy. In reality, this thing was a pain to carry through stations and tunnels, mainly because it takes up three tracks (Two for the bogies and one in the middle for engines to go under and take on coal or for filling trucks) that, and it's just too tall, not to mention the blatant railway realism violations it had.
Mobile Coal Conveyor
Given the poor performance of the mobile coal hopper, Sir Topham Hatt had specially ordered a conveyor system on rails. Powered by a 140 hp Perkins Diesel engine, the conveyor can rotate on a turntable to transfer coal to from trucks to bunkers or can be placed under a hopper and transfer coal from said hopper to trucks on another line.
Odd, Ulrich, Yumi, William, Alieta and Jeremy the Lyok-Coaches
All the way from France, New Zeland, Germany, Japan and Scotland, these coaches were used to take kids to school to Kadac Academy in Paris, these coaches whenever a certain computer program attacks the real world are transported over to the Virtual World of Lyoko to fight the evil forces of Xana, I don’t have the slightest clue why the creator of Lyoko named him that. Anyways, Xana was starting to posess engines on Sodor through a nearby supercomputer and thus the Lyoko warriors were brought in via Translation, Thomas agreed to help as he pulled them around to take down the robots invading in the name of Xana and shot them down.
Matt Damon the Celebrity Engine
Matt Damon was bio-fused into a odd-looking locomotive for a film franchise called “Multiple Dimensions” a series about a boy genius and his doofy granddad who visit multiple Earths and meet alternate versions of themselves and people they know, Matt was brought in for the third movie where he was to appear in a scene where the boy’s dimension-hopping car breaks down in a Alternate Universe where the American Revolution never happened and is still loyal to the U.K., he manages to send his Grandad back home as a scene where Matt’s character is built before having him race down Gordon’s Hill, zoom to a pair of buffers at the end of the line and warp back home. Matt was giving autographs to railway workers, drivers, firemen, engines and even some Troublesome Trucks wanting to have something memorable. He was scheduled to do the scene as he was about to head to the line with the buffers, but some parts in his engine form fell off including his internal pistons, making his chuff to a stop, then launching the boy actor from his ejector seat and into Harold’s rotary fans as he was recording the action.
Ziggy the Underpaid Dull Engine
Ziggy was an engine working in a crappy part of some city International Railways serviced, an engine who was treated rudely by his clients and sometimes beaten by his engineer, he was soon brought over to Sodor to switch cars for Suddery, he didn't seem to care about his clientele as he would biff his coaches and cars rather minimal care, some coaches planned his demise as they planned to load a stick of dynamite into her bunker, thankfully a bump in the tracks knocked it off but the hot day caused it to ignite and blow up a nearby McDonald's, Sir Topham Hatt hearing about this and mourning the loss of a restaurant.
The Automat Coach
This coach was brought in around the 80's as some cutbacks in dining car employees had Sir Topham Hatt have to buy this coach, an automat was basically a restaurant that had pre-made food in dispensers that all worked like vending machines, passengers only needed to put in a couple coins into the machines to get lunch, however the rise of fast food an depressed teenagers would obsolete the Automat car, that and nothing was cheap anymore.
The Time Travel Coach
The time travel coach, another invention by Emmet Brown, is a passenger car that can be used to move a entire train of people to any time in history where rails are. it could be used without Roger the time engine or a DeLorean. Emmet planned to have it sent to Sodor for safekeeping, knowing certain corporations were after it planning "Time Tours". Some thugs were sent over to find the coach as Percy accidentally shunted it to Edward's train, Edward went down Gordon's Hill with it and ended up in Ancient Egypt for a week.
Buddy the Automated Theme Park Railcar
Buddy was made for another Tomorrowland-like ride back in the 50’s to go around “The Town of the Future” which had several automated devices to amp people for the 21st Century, which failed to turn out that good and why Nostalgia looks good now. As the ride got shut down, Buddy would be bought and taken to Sodor to tour around certain theme parks including Disneyland Sodor. Buddy felt depressed over the fact that the future he was planned to be part of was now all a fantasy, he soon went rogue and would gather his fellow formerly futuristic machine pals, becoming “A hero of the futures of past!” as he became the Atomic Smythe, a supervillain who went about trying to bring the end of the edgy worlds of tomorrow and bring back the nuclear world thought of from the 30’s through early 60’s. Buddy was soon beaten by Ben 10 multiple times before being taken to Railgate.
Randy “Randana” Stevenot the Muppet Engine
“Randy” was a female engine given a guy’s name by accident when she was made, she was the little engine used for the Muppets when they toured Europe and do shows for the people there, along the way back to the states, they met the engines in Sodor and did a show in Tidmouth, Randy would be sitting around with nothing to do until it was time to go home. Once she left to head back to the states, she came up on a foreign object on the level crossing, she braked to a stop to see it was a large red truck with many trailers, she insulted it which the truck went after her and flattened her.
Rusty
This Rusty came in with several other engines from another railway, Rusty stated they were owned by a little boy and were often racing, since he was a character from a play, he was singing a lot and of course got into a lot of races. Rusty talked to Thomas about his victory in a major race with the blue tank engine just nodded and kept at work. Rusty would end up in another Great Race, pulling Peral as he would race against some of the fastest steam engines in the world, Rusty ended up getting blown off the rails as Rayveon passed him.
Greaseball
An overly prideful engine who claimed he was the fastest engine on Sodor and the best, having a large ego, singing his own praises with his gang of diesels, often ridiculing Rusty, Gordon and James about how old and slow they were and Devious Diesel being British and “Imperfect”, Gordon, James and Diesel did not take kindly to this and plotted Greaseball’s demise. Greaseball had Buffy the Buffet Car along with two sleepers he keeps around in his trains as Diesel had some oil remover sprayed on Buffy’s wheels to make her wheels grind in the bogies and catch fire. Greaseball would stop to check this out as James and Gordon stole the other coaches of Greasball’s train, While Greaseball was distracted, Devious Diesel rammed him off a unfinished bridge as the three ran away before any witnesses could spot them.
Electra
Electra bragged on how he was the future of Sodor, how electric engines would rule the rails, around his electric line he seemed fast as heck and could outrun everyone, however he got into a race with Spencer that ended with him going past the electric lines and running out of power.
Pearl the Observation Car
Peral was brought with Rusty and the other Starlight Express characters to help on the Island, she would be placed in the backs of passenger trains to make a decorative ending to each train she was part of, Rusty was not pleased with his girlfriend getting hit on by the other engines. Peral would soon be hit on by drunken fellow reject as Rusty klonked that badboy on the smokebox real well.
C.B. the Saboteur Caboose
C.B. was reliable for his job taking the place of regular brakevans, having more room and of course having the upper level to see better. C.B.’s notorious behavior would be shown as he became a paid mercenary, steamies and diesels paying him to sabotage trains, cause breakdowns among other things. The Fatt Hatter soon clobbered C.B. himself and sent him away.
Rockies #1-4
The Rockies were bought for a mass workload on Sodor, the goods vans not having enough room as the Rockies were bought in, soon coupled to Henry’s trains as he would speed about Sodor, picking up loads for his train, these boxcars would work as minions for Greaseball while on Sodor. The only reason these guys got rejected was that they went with Greaseball after he left Sodor, following him like a cult.
Flat Top the Brick Car
Flat Top was brought over to take bricks from Sodor Brickworks for delivering…. If you didn’t read the first part, you have to be insane, Anyhow the reason he didn’t make it was bricks kept fallin’ out of him and caused other engines to derail.
Dustin the Hopper Car
Rusty’s friend Dustin was also brought over, working with Hector the hopper as the two were made to take in more loads than regular troublesome trucks, Dustin and Hector would become good friends as they worked together, the little trucks feared the day of being obsolete by these hulking gondola giants as they worked out a plan to take them down…. Which was paying C.B. to sabotage their bogies and cause them to heat up badly, causing poor Dustin to melt his wheels and have to be sent home to get new ones.
Loco Lenny
Locomotive Lenny of the Dakota Valley Central Railroad straight from Stevie and Travis! Lenny was part of a crossover special with Thomas for some sort of Anti-Drug special that involved Diesel 10 starting a cigarette company and getting kids to do drugs for no reason. He and Thomas would manage to save the day by showing whatever reason why smoking is bad. (Because you’ll somehow become a terrorist according to those anti-smoking commercials) The only reason he wasn’t featured is Diesel 10 stole the footage for the special and sued Hit for character assassination.
Tigerbox the Fidget Spinner Wheeled Engine
Tigerbox was another experimental engine that used fidget spinners in his wheels as an early attempt by locomotive companies to “Go for the Bling-Bling” during the 2000’s when kids wanted to be gangster and before wanting to be Japanese. Tigerbox was fitted with his new wheels as he gained attention from all the other engines when he stopped at crossings and stations as they watched his wheels spinning without him moving, this was considered novel at the time. Tigerbox would suffer frequent breakdowns as his wheels would lock up and cause him to brake without command, causing many near accidents.
Revello Morshe the Globaltrax Plastic Bullet Engine
Part of the new railroad Globaltrax, Revello was part of what was claimed to be the “Most energy efficient railroad ever” like having mostly electric engines, bike pedal trains and other goofy “Green” engines (Even though they all were powered by actual sources that power the world) Like other Globaltrax engines Revello was a uppity hipster, always talking hardcore Tumblr talking points, his “Amazing bike holders” among other things hipster. However it was later reveled that the plastic electric engine was part of the frightening political group Antifa, Revello always awaiting orders to derail trains with certain targets or even destroy engines or rolling stock that were found to have conservative viewpoints of any kind. Revello would find Gordon as a target as he overheard Gordon saying “I think Tumblr is for pretentious people.” This triggered the electric engine to no end, driving him into a mad rage as he screamed, bolting forward to ram Gordon’s train from the back, Thankfully a switcherman saw what was going to happen as he pulled the switch right on time, causing Revello to multi-track drift… And hit the platform, thankfully no one was hurt… Except Revello when he later got taken to Railgate for attempted murder.
Tetsujin the Turbine Rocket Engine
Tetsujin was made in Japan in 1945 during the finale of World War II, this robotically operated engine was to deliver parts for war machines all over Asia at blinding fast speeds, able to withstand American firepower and take down American aircraft carriers. Unfortunately the war was lost and the engine ended up being held in what was thought to be shed, but worked as a missile. Shotaro Keneda would summon the engine via its remote system and ended up on Sodor, able to pull long trains, bash anything out of it’s way and had immense firepower. Sir Topham Hatt was impressed. However this engine had to be hidden away as various governments wanted the robot for their own.
Dreyfuss the West Coast Flyer
Dreyfuss was part of the Hot Wheels Railroad’s express fleet that took passengers from the suburbs to the city, getting people to work in less than 20 minutes, he was soon to be replaced by a faster diesel engine, Dreyfuss was soon bought by Fatsy Hattsy as he would soon be used to take even quicker trains from Knapford to Tidmouth and back doing limited stops, Gordon and Spencer felt jealous of his amazing speed, planning a perfect trick, having some oil poured on the rails minutes before Dreyfuss arrived, Gordon and Spencer quickly bolted away to have the joke in place, Dreyfuss was loaded and was about to bolt out as he was slipping on the oil, his driving wheels spinning faster and faster until he reached the end of the oil slick only to bolt ahead and cause his passengers to get simultaneously K.O.’ed, the evidence practically cleared itself as the Fat Controller got mad at Dreyfuss.
Rullo and Flurdus the Speeder
Bought from the A.T.S.F. line, this speeder with two faces would be used in track maintenance like the handcars and inspection engines. Rullo and Flurdus would race across the lines of the North Western and make sure everything was in tip-top shape. But of course these “two” being rejects, we can’t have them being successful anyhow. The speeder would race with Winston one day as they would not see a bent upwards rail, causing them to be flung into a lorry as they were lost that day, later to be found in Malaysia for some reason.
Geese the Hot Rod Tank Engine
Duck’s brother announced his visit to Sodor, much to Duck’s surprise, the Great Western had not seen his brother in years. When Duck waited at Knapford to see Geese. He was surprised to see his brother in red, hot rod pipes and looking radical, other engines were surprised to see him as he came to Duck. Geese had clearly abandoned the Great Western way as he was racing across the island too fast, pulling his trains like a bullet train, the hot rod pipes allowed him to operate at higher steam pressure and chuff faster, making him the fastest tank engine on Sodor. Of course he and Duck got into fights about this and “Abandoning his heritage”, this would be the case as he pulled the slip coaches way too fast one day, the brakes catching fire as passengers were soon riding coaches with no wheels.
Slick the Snake Speeder
Slick was an Aussie-Built engine from Hot Wheels Railroad that was used to speed about town and get passengers around the big city. He was known for terrorizing other railroads and competing lines of his railroad's clients and often had them blown away, well know for taking out oil fields not working with the Hot Wheels Railroad was rather brutal, also a leader in a gang of engines called the "Caboosotyes" Which I assume is coyote and caboose put together. He was brought onto Sodor to pulls high-speed express trains, he also was on a mission to blow up Sodor Oil, Diesel 10 getting word of his plan as he battled it out with the Bullet engine, knocking him off the track as the cops arrived, having him taken to Railgate.
Jim the Diesel Chief
Made with straight pipes right out of his cylinders. The noise that would make would wake the dead for miles on either side of the track. Since he's is a diesel, it would be turbocharged and when he opened up the throttle that high pressure exhaust would roar like a demon with his nuts in a bear trap. He looks like he’s either a maniac out to clear the rails of all slower vehicles or he’s so enthusiastic about jerking the couplers off of any car so unfortunate to be connected to him that he’s just itching to get to work. Only rejected because he ran over some bus full of hippies or something.
Stephen Jr. the New Rocket
Stephen took notice of some engines either adopting or building children as he himself finally decided to do so himself, working with some engineers as he soon had the construction of his own son made, months later Stephen Jr. was built, built to be thermally efficient as he too was made for speed, the little guy was planning to be featured in a future special yet Mattel wanted him for a new line of Hot Wheels car.
Boris the Animator Engine
A locomotive who's designed to look as if he came out of GoAnimate. His one trait is grounding anything and anyone for dumb reasons such as grounding Whiff for liking garbage or Duncan for complaining. Never made the cut because of protests from around the world of his "punishment days" which involved so many graphic images, that the tape of his episode was rumored to be destroyed.
Bloger the Single-Driver Engine
Bloger was a knockoff of the Sterling single built by a competing company trying to beat the GNR in the speed game, Bloger was racing Emily and her entire class to stations as he pumped his pistons to prove he was better. He would later do the same thing with Emily years later as he was bought by the N.W.R., only problem was he kept ramming into school buses.
D896 the Diesel Engine with a Tender
D896 was a experimental diesel engine made to have more fuel containment and be stronger than normal diesels, he was taken to Sodor for testing and was seen racing about the island hauling freight about back and forth. The diesel was impressive, even having two cabs so he didn't need a turntable, the only cause of his rejection being that his combusted fuel caused birds to mutate and turn into fat fratboys.
Atari the Dream Invader Engine
Atari was a narrow gauge tank engine who haunted dreams of people around the world, his most common nightmare he did was of one of farmhouse in the countryside with jagged rocks surrounding the house, having bridges going around the place as several people ran around screaming as he used his cannon car to drop bombs on them. Atari was soon haunting Nia’s dreamworld as she was chased around the farmhouse, she screamed as she raced towards the nearby horse barn, Atari chased after her on the bridges as he was about to deliver the final blow, only to hear Rebecca belch as it affected the nightmare and blew Atari away right into Dowanger Hatt’s male strip club dream.
Poppa the Father Figure Engine
Poppa is Rusty’s (Starlight Express’) father figure type of engine, quite the racer in his golden days, Poppa helped council Rusty back in Starlight Express. Now working as a freighter with Henry and Rebecca. He pulls trains around Sodor, Poppa was doing fine until he would one day wonder into a steel mill and witness a triple Drugbust-Murder-MoneyForgicide going on and got put in a witness protection program.
Ashley the Smoking Car
Ashley is the mature and bad habited cars of the Starlight Express gang. A coach with proper filters for smokers, Ashley was placed into many of the express trains for the smoking bunch. Then of course some anti-smoking gangs demanded that she’d be censored or Mattel would be terrorized, poor girl felt a lot of grief.
Buffy the Buffet Car
Buffy the Buffet Car was bought in for hungry passengers to have more choices in food. She was working with Dinah the dining car in helping make more meal choices as she was with Greaseball, but if you’ve seen previous pictures, I think you know what happens to her next.
Dinah the Dining Car
Greasball’s girlfriend, a sweet, lovable, Southern dining car who is a hopeless romantic and in a abusive relationship with the diesel. Dinah was another diner for the coach fleet, however, she would have to bear witness to what happened to Greaseball when Gordon, James and Diesel did the hit on him.
Red Devil Fire the Steam Turbine Engine
Red Devil Fire was a new Steam Turbine engine made for a railroad trying to preserve their steam fleet. Red Devil was used to pull freights with quick acceleration as the Fatt-Hatt saw him in action, the railroad that owned him were planning to sell him off for scrap as Red Devil was bought out to the NWR, he would join Henry and Murdoch in hauling loads. Reason for rejection? He has low to no anger management and K.O.’ed his driver and fireman in an argument.
Truffade the Z-Type Public Engine
Truffade was part of the Public Railways project and was made for rich benefactors to drive to work, sadly as the project failed he was soon transferred from railroad to railroad being used like Winston to haul the CEO’s and benefactors of the rails. He was bought out by the owner of Go Loco Railroad in Los Santos and was brought to Sodor to visit the Fat Hatter, Topscam and the Go Loco CEO chuffed around Sodor exploring the place, right until Carl Johnson and Trevor Phillips hijacked Truffade and had him ram several coaches, run over people and animals plus nail several signals until Truffade’s misery was ended when they bailed out of him as he hit some buffers and a street lamp.
Crowder the Gear-Drive Garratt Engine
Crowder was a BR experimental engine inspired by both the Shays of Western U.S.A. and Africa’s Garratts, he was made mostly to start up quick and go on tights turns faster than other engines, Crowder was even working on Sodor during the N.W.R.’s final years of being part of British Railways, Crowder mostly shunted in Knapford but of course wasn’t featured in the Railway Series as the Thin Clergyman’s son and him got real political and was never featured.
L’Ocean the Atlantian Submarine Engine
Built in Atlantis, L’Ocean was made to operate underwater in the Atlantic’s newly built underwater railroads, made to ship things from continent to continent without having to build bridges or use ships at all. He was also built with underwater refueling methods as Sodor would soon gain lines to Atlantis, however L’Ocean’s major flaw was that any rolling stock he took underwater wasn’t airtight, rusted quickly and passengers hated having to read their soggy newspapers underwater.
Bertieberesuffersuffersford the Experimental Cab-Forward Engine
A experimental engine powered by the centrifugal force of the Revered spinning in his grave... Which I guess means Wilbur Awdry was put in his tender. Rejected because of this and the fact he looked too much like a cash-grab.
T.J. the Public Rail Taxi Engine
Another engine made for the Public Railways system, T.J. was another taxi engine made to travel city streets quicker than a motorcar taxi, he would be brought over too to Sodor for a second chance of bringing back the railroad taxi, T.J. would travel on time to his destinations for his passengers, yet passengers would complain of the boiler heat from behind and the loud noise, T.J. was ahead of his time, yet sadly having minor flaws.
Azule the Kid-Friendly Roofless Engine, Roja the Other Kid-Friendly Engine and Verde the Teen-Friendly Engine
Right from Dora the Explorer, these three wonderful engines were brought over as Dora became a city-dwelling teenager as the magical world she explored would go into waste, Azule, Roja and Verde were soon brought to take children to school to replace Matt’s school train (And illegal monkey trafficking business) the three engines were working hauling kids around Sodor, working like mini Hogwarts Expresses. However Nick got into a legal feud with Hit over the three engines that were still under legal contract for another decade despite working as strictly business operations.
Old #97 from Tennessee Tuxedo
From on old zoo in Megaopolis and recently restored after being destroyed by a penguin and walrus. Old #97 was taken to Sodor to go to work for the N.W.R. as a mixed-traffic engine like James. The red engine himself thought it was going to be like “Big World, Big Adventures” and he would be replaced too. Old #97 and James were certainly trying to prove to be really useful as they both feared being sold off or scrapped. James would regain his faith as one day the exact same penguin and walrus fiddled with #97’s controls and had him ram into a delicatessen.
Anastasia
An engine who forgot who she was, bought by Sir Topham Hatt to work as a passenger engine. However two engines from Russia found her and planned to have her act as the famous Russian Czar’s private locomotive before the Russian Revolution that started the Soviet Union. After a globetrotting adventure with magic and romance she learned she was indeed said Czar’s engine as she went back, now being Putin’s private engine.
Toriel Steamurr
Asriel’s mother, Toriel managed to Bio-Fuse herself to help comfort Asriel on the fact he was turned into a engine. Toriel was quite the motherly type as she gave advice to the engines of Sodor, many still not used to non human-faced engines. Toriel didn’t know too much about railways and needed some training, thankfully getting it as she helped Asriel get used to pulling trains. Toriel was not too good at rail operations at the time as Hit didn’t want to record her despite her friendly personality and all.
Defeatist Limited
During 1944 for the USRA loco president election, Thomas Dewey A.K.A. “Defeatist Limited” was running against Franklin Roosevelt, a streamliner engine whom planned to continue the war with Japan, the Defeatist Limited was thinking more about trying to reason with the enemy instead of bombing everyone. Roosevelt saw the Defeatist as a sissy and somehow a Nazi lover for thinking of trying to be reasonable and not drop a nuke on Japan. Of course being older and smaller, Dewey was unable to outrun Roosevelt as the war went on. The Defeatist Limited would be bought by Topham as he saw the little engine as rather non-violent which was good at the time as engines were beating the crap outta each other. But of course Roosevelt came along and ran the poor engine over.
The Pumpkinhead Engine
Also known as the Great Pumpkin, this little engine every Halloween night goes about the Island delivering toys to all the good boys and girls, always heading to the place of high virtue and least hypocrisy on the Island, the pumpkin patch, the engine always waiting for “A little boy with his blanket” whom never appeared, the engines made fun of him for waiting for this boy each Halloween.
Shnissugah the Possessed Hand-Crank car
This little alternative-operation handcar was used to switch around cars by two guys moving it’s crank wheel around, however after a accident, it became cursed with the souls of the dead workers who used it their entire career and will not accept anyone else as it's drivers and will sling them away. The workers who had to work with the blasted thing got sick of it’s curse as they grabbed hammers and pounded it.
Dudgeon the Couch Engine
Dudgeon was quite a odd engine to be meted. His creators had built him with some couches and a comfy chair to be ridden on, meaning he could take passengers on him when his trains were overly full. He would be used for track inspection and of course cheap passenger trains as he was rather cheaper to maintain. Dudgeon’s real cost came in the fact couch maintenance when exposed to rain, snow and everything else.
Tupper, Papa Franku’s Personal Boat Engine
Tupper was won in a contest by Youtube Legend FilthyFrank. The goofy character now could ride the rails or on the water, Tupper was quite a fun way to travel Sodor as FilthyFrank toured Sodor for his newest skit, but of course Tupper was abandoned as he collided with Dart and was sent flying.
Thomas and Friends © Wilbur W. Awdry and Hit Entertainment. Pictures are made by Austin the Red Steam, , , made the mobile coal hoppers and everything else listed.

Question: What's that donut/Ferris wheel thing under two of the engines on the top row? What's that for, as I can't seem to find anything about it in the bios...

Nice list. You know who'd make Thomas and Friends awesome though? The Silver Bullet train you see in Bud Light commercials back then.

On Toriel, would bio-fusion really work since monsters aren't really that physical? I mean, since if they die, they just crumble into dust. Poof.
How about a character based off the Kitson-Still hybrid engine?

Eh, maybe magic was used for Toriel, like a potion or something, and we can do a Kitson-Still hybrid engine.
