Description
After 2 ½ months of making this, Rejected Thomas Characters 5! Topham just never learns to read the Trainmax reviews doesn’t he?
Postman Pat's Railvan - The old classic British Children's icon was about to join Sodor's vehicular elite as he gained a series of other vehicles to get all around Sodor including this new railvan, How can such a guy not make the mark? 'Cause Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat is a giant twt .
Miley the Anthro Fox Engine - Built for Railways of Mobius, she used to be just another freight engine until Sir Topham Hatt bought her, she was rather attractive to most of the male engines, caused most of the guys to beat the crap out of each other as Fatty decided to send her back.
Dilbert the Monowheel Engine – Dilbert was a really strange engine and got looks from everyone, his large drivers being his only method of propulsion and having geared wheels on the inside, Dilbert pulled trains around at a fair speed, but his past would soon come to Sodor as some kind of steam tractor would chase after him until his wheels broke but managed to get away, apparently he had been hiding some newfangled power source as Fatty got mad for lying about his past and sent him back to England.
Chargeman – Built in 20XX by Dr. Wiley, the Fat Controller bought to remains of the robot master and managed to rebuild him as a locomotive, Chargeman was real good as a locomotive, however his problem was he shot flaming coals out of his stack, flying out and catching things aflame.
Link the Spirit Engine – Built in a foreign land called “Hyrule”, Link was brought over to help with the mass of loads from Brendam docks as new factories were being made, Link brought along with him a cannon car, passenger car and a odd flatbed, when questioned about the cannon, Link gave some sort of gesture about fearing “Dark Trains” that wonder about. Nobody knew what he ment by that, until large, dark blue orblike engines wondered onto Sodor and blew up brakevans and other carriages. Topham went nuts and sent Link away since he thought Link attracted these strange engines.
Sterling the Jet Fighter Engine – A pompous, misogynist, egotistical, and attractive bullet engine built to help fight off any railbound terrors that wonder onto Sodor, Sterling was known for his alcoholism and rude behavior to the female engines not to mention getting into lots of misadventures. Built for the new Rail Force with tons of gadgets and weapons but very few super-terrors are around.
Lana the Handcar – Lana was bought the same time with Sterling, being his girlfriend, she would be used for light track maintenance duties as they suspected she would not have to be used heavily, that is until she’s having to help Sterling out of his messes.
Perdue the Really Short Engine – Perdue was actually brought over thanks to Victor from Pennsylvania to assist him in some of his Sodor Research projects, Perdue often helped in repairing engines, pulling cars of specific parts over to the Steamworks and switched cars, he helped Victor play God and also helped in making Laramie the Cyborg engine. The Fat Controller had Hit not include Perdue in any episodes for what he does with Victor off set and the fact his eyes were too wide apart and creepy.
Cleveland the Flexi-Engine – Built to operate on more tighter curvature and could extend when more pressure enters him, Cleveland would try to pull trains around some of the Island's tightest curved lines, built with chains to keep himself from ripping, he would be able to work, that is if chain maintenance wasn't a problem.
Gus the Steam Drill - The actual drill that went up against John Henry a hundred or so years ago, Gus was made to be able to smack down four spikes at one time to save on hiring multiple men hammering them down, Gus was real impressive to the C&O CEO as he was sent to help with a line being made, John Henry challenged him to the famous contest and lost due to something in his hammers. Sir Topham Hatt found out he was still alive in farm shed somewhere as he was brought over an restored, able to help put down spikes and save time and money. However John Henry's ghost came and challenged the poor engine to a rematch, Gus having confidence as he would be able to be better repaired and would be able to hammer faster, the rematch had him repairing a line to Abbey, however even in rain his hammers finally cracked under pressure as Gus was ruined, now unable to work on the island.
Glex the Snake Tram - Bought one early morning in some dockyard in Brazil, Sir Topham Hatt got a hold of this ungodly beast, Glex was never stated where he came from, or why there were passenger seats in him, but he was bought to assist Toby with his trains, Glex was rather spooky to passengers, with realistic scales on the walls with seats that felt alive, Glex was later considered "Too creepy" to run.
Hot Rodney the Steaming Demon - A rare "Sports Engine" made for doing stunts thanks to his wheels that could take impacts from falling back on track from a jump, He was converted back into a normal engine in '43 to help in a war effort, it wouldn't be until this decade of the 2010's that he'd be bought and taken to Sodor, rebuilt with his many stacks, he would be used to perform stunts which captivate audiences, however his demise occurred when he attempted to make the jump from the beach to Misty Island, nearly making it, but a large ship got in the way, Rodney hitting a stack, getting smashed through it and landing in a crumble.
Maria the Yoshi Engine - Maria was operating on another island transporting fruit around, she would be brought over to help at the docks and help shunt around trucks, only for Salty to find out she had been eating every fruit, koopa and goomba load that had come off the ships, leaving empty containers, this made Topham angry since he was try to make the world's biggest sundae.
Red the Railroad Tank - In an attempt to modernize, the Island of Sodor got it's very own tiny army squadron. The only problem is that Red and his fellow military vehicles have left their brains back at the battlefield, so to speak, Red was part of military trains back in WWII, he was appointed to help James with a train as a defense, but he ended up misinterpreting a scarecrow for a ISIS member, firing at it and ruining the farm's entire crop of corn for the year.
Brutus the Blackbeetle Jet Engine - Brutus was an attempt to help America bring back passenger trains back in the 60's converting him from coach to turbine-powered supertrain-puller for the future, it's unknown how well of bed he did before coming to Sodor, that is until he was to pull a train from Tidmouth to Vicarstown, even as he was started up in the sheds, people were screaming in pain as he made his way to the station, workmen, dogs, stray cats, homeless, station staff and passengers were either shooting themselves, running away, getting a noose and hanging themselves as Brutus pulled in, the poor engine was shocked at how suicidal the place was that he thought Sodor had demons, causing him to run away to the mainland, not knowing why they did it.
Moses the Elderly Engine - Built some time in 1849 to compete with Iron Duke's class, advertised to pull more and run faster, unfortunately, he was not any better as advertised, but luck would have it that he'd be able to outlive the Duke and end up on Sodor. Moses however couldn't understand modern trends or politics, his reason for rejection was the fact he was being used for mainline duty, which was not the brightest of uses for the old engine.
Parker the Spider-Engine - Parker was a really strange engine, he gained his wheelset and powers after a radioactive Spider fell into his fuel tank, causing him to mutate into a engine with 8 wheels and able to shoot spider webs and climb walls, Parker would even spend time fighting crime on Sodor, but of course one day he broke a couple legs and the Dieselworks had no idea how to repair him.
Amy Rose the Pink Express Engine - A pretty passenger engine who was bought to help Gordon in his trains, however she would frequently chase after Thomas, Edward and any other blue engine mistaking them for her beloved Sonic.
Clayton the Fruit Engine - Made from a genetically mutated apple, Clayton was an odd engine to say the least, He would pull trains of fruit around and be like a mobile advertisement, Clayton however was not aware of that fact he had natural predators, better known as horses and worms.
Goodgulf the Wizard Engine - A steamie that can do magic, bought from "Shire Lines" from what appeared to be New Zeeland, Goodgulf was able to help other engines back on the tracks, repair track and weasel his way out of common situations that occur to a tender engine, it would be until one day he would stop some engine from trying to get past the Vicarstown bridge, as he shouted "You shall not pass!" and slammed his staff on the bridge, breaking it and making it inconvenient for Sodor to get it's supplies.
Chad the Pool Car - Chad was bought by Fatty as part of his obsession with pools and hot tubs, having Wilson or other engines pulling Chad around as he monitored from the pool, looking real relaxed, he often brought his family among other people along to bathe around and look about Sodor. It wasn't until Fatty got finished with his obsession that Chad was sold off.
Flying Bufferboard - Sodor's smallest standard-gauge steamer, his main duty was the shunting of wagon loads of waste to help Scruff and Whiff out, the little engine always had a hard time getting water as it splashed over him most of the time.
Carl the Caboose/Engine Mix - Carl was made to be both a locomotive and caboose that could be used both ways, made to innovate freight trains by being at the end of them, helping save time with having to turn around, Carl would help Murdoch, Henry, Sam and other big engines pull trains around, even being there in case of breakdowns, Carl wasn't much of a problem, the other engines found out a secret about him. It was apparent that he was a believer of the Flat Earth Theory, We as the believers of the spherical Earth have some duty to bully those who deny our holy belief and mock those who dare not conform, Carl was emotionally scarred and left the island the next morning before anyone else woke up.
Thump the AndyWilson-Like Engine - Thump's past was a pure mystery along with how Sir Topham Hatt managed to get him, he was really unconventional, square in shape, tall funnel, his name on each section and had passenger seating, Thump could also levitate and often spoke loudly, spooking old people whenever he talked, some youngsters recognized him from videos made by a "Mr. AndyWilson92". Thump was later sold off to an alternate Sodor as the Fatt Hatt was tired of his God-awful voice.
Roger the Time Travel Engine - Roger was made by some scientist back in the year 1885 to apparently travel through time, Roger confirmed this rumor as said owner lended him to the N.W.R., he would help pull trains around rather quickly and often avoided going past 70 M.P.H., James, Connor and Caitlin would wonder why he didn't go any faster, all three would one day get behind him on the Flying Kipper, pushing him faster and faster until all four engines warped back to 1984, James spotted his non-C.G.I. model self as Roger would have to get the three engines back home. As the time-travel adventure was heard about, Topham gave Roger back to the scientist to keep the time warping adventures from changing history.
Anon the Question Mark Engine - Anon was made for a local attraction in a place in Oregon called the "Mystery Shack" bought by one S. Pines, he was to pull trains around the outside exhibits and amaze customers. However in 2012 the shack finally shut down after some ungodly event, Anon was sold to Sodor and brought over, everyone stared at his strange design, wondering how he even worked, Anon was rather annoyed with how people would pester him every day as he tried to make his way to Ulfsted Castle. He requested not to appear on any episodes.
Capone the Mobster Engine - Capone was a engine made for the New Your Central, pulling passenger trains around the state, He was considered a Five Points Gang member who became a bouncer in organized crime premises such as "Engine Brothels" where female engines would take off their streamlining, showing off those shiny, clean parts. He would gain higher and higher status in the gang as he made himself a reputation, he and other engines would shoot up tattletales who spoke of what they did, he even had some "Subway shmuk who chirped too much" and had him along with other subway cars "Do revenue service with the fishes" dumping them all in the sea. Capone would spend years later in a scrapyard until Fatty found and bought him along with some of his fellow mobster engines, he and his fellow engines would cause classic chaos on Sodor, robbing banks, having other engines and Bertie sent to "Sleep with the fishes" among other things. Topham learned his lesson in buying a convicted locomotive.
Sabrina the Psychic Engine - Originally named "Natsume" in Japan, she was able to get her coal shoveled in, maintain steam on her own, shunt her own cars and connect herself to her train all without the use of a crew, the only reason there was even a driver and fireman was mostly for emergencies, Sabrina was brought to Sodor to display her abilities, she showed she was rather amazing but then Arthur tried to hit an her, finding her attractive, she sent him flying into a barn with a psychic attack, crewmen tried to shut her down as she put up a brawl, Red the Railroad tank was ordered to attack and blast her head off, managing to save the island from a deadly brawl.
Andrew the Ambulance Railcar and Drake the Organ Container Car - Andrew was built during the war effort to haul injured soldiers out of the battlefield, he was possible the best at what he did until the war ended, becoming a regular steam autocoach, taking passenger to and from work until the 60's where he got demoted to a baggage car and ended up in a heritage museum for years. The Fatt Hatt would hear of his story, buying him, getting him to the Steamworks for restoration as he would be the rescue center's first ambulance, given a special reefer made in America called Drake, Drake was made to haul spare donor parts for people who need it at long distances, Andrew and Drake would help deliver really sick passengers to the hospitals along the lines, blaring out the siren as they raced around. The Scandal? They were both found out to be hauling spare brains and facial/skeletal parts to Sodor Research to help built more engines and make their faces.
Susan the Soda Power Tram - Susan was made for the Minneapolis, Lyndale, and Minnetonka Railway, built to work like a baking-soda volcano, pulling tourist trains around town, she was bought to help Flora in the Great Waterton tramway, she was not as strong as Flora or Toby but what would cause her failure was likely circled around the prospect of an exploding soda motor spewing tons of boiling-hot caustic material around a neighborhood, this explained why her type of technology never really caught on back in the states.
Bob and Jerry the Double-Boiler Engine - Bob and Jerry were made in a attempt to make a high-pressure locomotive, by making two boilers and a taller tender, the duo engine was sent to pull really long trains, the poor engine would suffer trying to make steam and pull trains, the double-boiler engine would soon face Smudger's fate and become a generator, their wheels being recycled for another engine.
Poyotr the Gyro Monorail - Poyotr was made specifically for the new Sodor Disneyland that was under construction, the monorail system was going to be a mix of both the normal monorail system with the classic steam engines that went around the park normally, the gyro monorail engine was on a test run around the new park, but due to his wheels barley being flanged he came off the rails, becoming a rampaging steam motorcycle and smashed into the new It's a Small World ride, becoming clear that the expenses for the gyro monorail replacing two railways was not a good investment.
Dolan the Dribbler - Small, but really, really smart along with his pink catgirl engineer Shima, the duo knowing lots of facts (Depending on who you ask anything about) the little engine would help move coaches around in the yard, even worked with Matt the School Engine up until the Monkey Trafficking scandal, however his reason for leaving was a design flaw, being the fact water and fuel dribbled from his firebox and sometimes caught the track's ties aflame.
Gill the Grappling Hook Engine - Built to climb really steep lines, Gill was bought from Germany as he was to operate the new funicular railway on Peel Godred to Culdee Fell Summit, apparently to deliver standard-gauge cars all the way to the top for heavy supplies. Gill was taking construction supplies for a new section for the hotel but due to some "Accident" he pulled on a loose tie that looked like it was sawed apart and soon lost his grip, his crew abandoned him as he plummeted back to the bottom, what was sad was the fact he saw his crew's faces just before they let him die. Were they the ones that sabotaged his track? Fingerprint inspection showed none other than Lord Harry used a saw to cut down that mountain competition.
Devin the Ghost Engine - Devin was scrapped long ago and had wondered onto the island haunting the tracks at night, he didn't seem to do much harm, that is until Percy's Ghost Engine, Rusty's Ghost Engine and Edward's all ganged up on him and beat the crap out of him, putting him in a giant bag and stuffing him in the shed of Timothy, the other ghost pleased to have a friend.
Hero the Windpower Engine - Made to promote windmill power to Sodor instead of coal power plants, Hero was brought over to prove how energy efficient he was... Now if he was able to pull anything more than himself.
William the Shower Coach - Some people complained that they never have enough time to shower in the morning and wished there was a way to shower while taking the train to work. William was bought from the states and converted to what he was now, but of course having multiple men or women in the shower does cause lots of unwanted shenanigans and people coming out beaten and bruised like they were in prison.
Digger the Excavator Diesel - Digger was built to help in maintaining, making tracks and helping Marion excavate things, Digger was really helpful around the island with his really useful shovel, Digger was doing good until it was discovered Digger was trying to mine for oil during late nights at the Blue Mountain Quarry.
Armstrong the Astronaught Engine - Built for pulling trains on a new Moon colony, Armstrong was brought over to pull helium-3 and other things around the Earth's light giving meteor, after a few years of operation, he would be brought back to Earth, still left in his spacesuit, for some reason Armstrong went ballistic at times on the Northwestern as he thought he was spotting "Tall, Busty Blue Lizard Amazons" that were after him, the poor engine was taken to a mental ward of the Sodor Research and hasn't been seen much since.
Cameron the Camera Engine - A steamer that joined the British Paparazzi back in the 60's to catch photos of well-known celebs of the day, such as the Beetles, Rolling Stones and such. Cameron would do this well into the 80’s, right until the great Paparazzi massacre of ’87 where he along with other photographers were soon being shot at by a crazed Tom Baker with some sort of bazooka and nearly destroyed the poor engine, he would be taken to the Steamworks for repairs and then brought back, Cameron would still harass the engines with his camera, asking them ridiculous rumors he heard and just flashing that light of his way too much, he was harassing Cranky one day asked him insane questions like “Are you a pedofile?” “Is it true you’re having a affair with the Dutchess of Sodor?” “Is it real that you’ve once worked for ISIS?” Cranky dropped a crate of anvils on Cameron and gave him brain damage.
Eric the Magnetic Energy Engine – Eric was built with a Dimension W power source that could have him hover on rails and operate on any track like a maglev, Eric would pull trains as fast as 125 mph, he would be able to go faster if most of what he hauled didn’t have the bearings catch on fire at a certain speed. Eric would race around the mainland and Sodor taking passengers to and fro’ both lands, but speed can corrupt badly as one day he took a curve too fast, careening off track, smashing through someone’s house and crumbling a roadway for seventeen miles, Fatty was not amused by this accident.
Engine Carrier Car – Built to haul the Skarloey engines around and could haul four at a time, that is until the thing’s weak supports caved in.
Captain Waylon the Diesel Boat Engine – This guy was bought to replace Danny Wimbleton and his corniness, the half-boat diesel was also able to travel on rail and water, Waylon would pull trains and tug in ships, which cut costs the usage of both, Waylon however did have one problem, water getting in his exhaust pipes would flood his engine and cause him to croak, thus making it clear his design needed major work.
Mortimer the Coffin Car – Built to carry either large amounts of dead bodies or an engine long unable to be repaired, Mortimer was brought over to do the work many wished not to do, network executives didn’t feel like he was such a good idea to show, that and they learned he was being used to take dead bodies from Sodor Research.
Millie the Mobile Statue – Millie was brought from Germany to haul statues around, she did seem rather useful for her work, but one of the problems was that she couldn’t haul anything that wasn’t human or bigger than her, that and the statue business died off leaving her to be just a regular vertical boiler engine.
Xarneas the Crystal Energy Engine – Another experimental engine powered this time by magic crystals, Built to be more powerful than anything beforehand, Xarneas was pulling trains as long as 500 cars, able to get more loads delivered with less engines needed, he was quite a charming machine, having magic sparkle-like smoke coming from his stack, it would be that one day when his looks changed forever, he was making a pickup at the Smelter’s as he was inside the main building, some fire happened as a explosion went off, causing the cranes and such to fall down, Xarneas was trapped and watched his crew run away, he screamed in terror as the fire surrounded him, after a lengthy battle with the flames by the fire department, they found the poor engine looking way more different, some Japanese representative of Sony spotted Xarneas in his new shape and burnt out colors and was amazed, the man was Tetsuya Nomura, future maker of Final Fantasy 8, he purchased Xarneas and would have him go under his new name as the Doomtrain.
Marty the Fairgrounds Engine – A small Arsdale-like engine that was made to pull trains around carnivals, the little engine was really good at his job, how can such and engine be rejected? It would be found out by Terrance the Tractor as he looked in Marty’s shed and found a good amount of cocaine in there which kept him all hyped up.
Carrie the Raft Excavator – Carrie was brought to help the Sodor Search and Rescue team on water-based missions where some digging in water was needed Carrie was brought over for that purpose, she would help left sunken engines or help make dams. Carrie was useful for a while but the engines of Sodor managed to get better at slowing down on tight turns and made the excavator’s work redundant.
Andy the Mobile Engine Wash – Made for washdowns on sight and help clean off engines after crashes, Andy was rather useful in keeping the engines of Sodor looking tip-top and respectable, however working with Scruff was beast, the engine wash having to work like a cowboy and wrangle Scruff every time he needed a bath, his untimely demise happed when Scruff managed to stop on a bridge, Andy hitting Scruff’s back, careening off the bridge and being carried off in a garbage barge.
Tiffaniel the Demolition Engine – This odd little engine was built to help in demolishing old buildings by shooting small grenades from his smokestacks his steam pressure, Tiffaniel didn’t have much control over his shots when he wasn’t helping in wrecking some old building, one day he was pulling a coal train around to each station to keep them from getting cold during the winter, his driver forgot which string handle was his whistle and not his grenade shot, pulling the wrong one, bombing most of the train and burning away tons of coal, the engine clearly needed better modifications.
Juleas the Ice Cream Engine – Juleas was made to go around stations selling ice cream, he sold all sorts, soft serve, sundaes, popsicles, malts, shakes, sodas and more, he was really useful, it didn’t seem like he could be a problem, what might have been his rejection reason? It was mostly the songs he played while doing his runs, normally you’d hear The Entertainer or some old song of the sort, but Juleas thought it would attract kids more often if he played more modern songs, bad idea as such songs like Flo-Rida’s “Sugar”, Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” and everything from the Insane Clown Appose were played.
Herbie the Tunnel-Cleaning Car – Herbie was made to help clean tunnels and remove the excess coal soot from decades of steam engines traveling through, Safford would pull Herbie through as he used his brushes to drill out the particles and make the tunnels safer to breath in. Herbie worked rather well for a while, but of course a new spray came along and made him obsolete, the spray able to get to soot off in seconds.
Cole the Mobile Cole Dispenser – Made for Elsbridge yards as he would be able to fill tenders and bunker with coal and save energy on using it to get to the coaling area. Cole was powered by a wind up motor that simply needed a crank to be used and not have to run on any fuel, Cole’s work did seem helpful for a while, but it became a problem when Henry ran out one day and needed more, Cole tried to get over to him, only to find out clockwork really isn’t that useful for traveling outside of the yard.
Sean the Chameleon Engine – Sean was made to cloak himself during wartime, this was rather useful in the battlefield as he could make his smoke dissipate faster and hide from enemy sight back in the day. Sean was also real good at hide and seek, able to use anything as a hiding spot when Thomas and Percy tried to find him, but one game would have him ruined as Hank would come thundering up behind him, Sean was hiding in Henry’s tunnel when he heard Hank’s pistons pumping, trying to start up but having too many wheelslips, Hank ended up smashing his tender and derailing the steam lizard, all because Hank’s headlight couldn’t show Sean.
Popeye the Paddleboat Engine – Popeye was another water and rail experiment, this time however for passenger usage, Popeye would be able to travel to the mainland even if the bridge was out or go to Misty Island without the need of the underground tunnels, the paddleboat engine was pretty good but when it came to a fight, there was this strange, green plant he kept in cans around which he ate right before a fight, able to make him punch other engines real hard and send them flying, not to mention the crazy music that played every time he ate it. Hit did not see this as appropriate.
Casey the Western Engine - A western style 4-4-0 who is in charge of a crack mail train from Knapford to Barrow-in-Furness and does anything to be on time, even by speeding. However, after a accident with Donald and Douglas, he was repaired at the steamworks, but sent away back to the U.S for risking the lives for both his crew and the Scottish twins.
Leif the Battery Engine – Leif was a small electric engine like Stafford, able to run on batteries, he was used to pull passenger trains through some of the lines that ran into the streets in Cronk since his brakes were quick-acting. Leif did this for a few months, but some issues came up with some smoke coming from him, but it was later discovered he had developed crack connections and was smoking on the job.
Fasolt the Friction-Drive Engine – Another German experiment, Fasolt was made to have two sets of wheels, the top half going backwards to push his regular wheels forwards, made to have him run at low gear, he would help shunt trucks and coaches throughout the island, however he suffered constant wheelslip and was really slow, not able to do much out of shunting.
Tixel the Nixel Diesel – Tixel was sent by Major Nixel to find cubits on Sodor as he got word on the ‘net about them, Tixel wondered the rails for any signs of the cubits, one day finding them in a mail car, Tixel went to go steal it as Percy spotted him, going after the runt engine, Tixel ended up hitting Emily’s brakevan on her train and smashed into it, Topham learning of his criminal mission.
Speedy McAllister and Old ‘Putter Pete – Straight from a competing railroad in a town called “Chuggington” both were brought over as the company felt they were “Too Old”, Speedy would be out on passenger duty while Pete got work as a shunter, Pete kept complaining about how the railway was overworking an old engine like himself along with Speedy blithering about how he was better off with goods trains, every engine including fellow rejects got sick of that real fast.
Scott the Massive Streamliner – Built to take Speedy’s place, Scott was more pleased to be on Sodor, happy not to be left to rot in some park or stuck in a non-heritage museum, Scott was mostly racing about the island taking goods and people about, it seemed everything seemed normal enough for regular use, but a large foot came and stomped on him.
Sammy the Mobile Water Tower – Like Cole Sammy was made to be able to deliver water to steam engines in danger, powered by natural gas as he would make his way anywhere and refuel engines. Sammy was real useful for his job, but one day Gordon figured out how to make gin with Sammy’s tank and turned him into a mobile keg, engines would soon throw parties with Sammy and do drinking contests, Fatty later discovered these parties, complete with gin and cake and got angry, having Sammy put away somewhere, using some ridiculous excuse to some them from happening again.
Quincy the Quadraplex Engine – Quincy is made to pull really heavy trains, usually taking giant consists that is of Sodor’s production and hauling it to the mainland in one simple train, Quincy was expensive to operate and often flattened tracks, but what made him a reject was the fact he was hard to storage and couldn’t fit in sidings to get around his own trains.
Gina the Survey Engine – Another German Engine made for an unusual purpose, Gina was built to help track engineers look around during construction and able to help the power plants run when they needed to replace a boiler for a generator, Gina had the flaws of having to find alternate routes to avoid hitting signal gantries, station roofs and tunnels, this made things complicated.
Helena the Helicopter Engine – Helena was made to experiment in using helicopter propellers to run trains, this did not go well as her rotors needed to have wide clearance, she only went upwards and even being used as a regular helicopter, often sunk into the ground with her heavy bogies.
Tracker the Pirate Engine – Tracker was bought by some “Unregistered Railroad” a cab-forward made to help some aging drivers be able to drive around without needing as much eagle-eye power as possible, what got engines curious was his missing eye, masts and flag, Tracker stated his masts could have sails opened up on a windy day and could help him run about saving fuel costs. One night after shoveling in the Blue Mountain Quarry, Marion spotted Tracker burying some things and saw him run away. She and some other diggers opened out the spot and found treasure chests fuel of goods, valuables, money and much more, lots of it stolen from other railroads, Fatty didn’t approve of this as he would have the engine deported.
Tyler the PRR T1 - Who hasn't accepted the fact that the NYC & PRR rivalry is still going, Plus he's extremely rude to Connor, but friendly with Hank and Phillip since they were from the PRR, Plus he wheelslips alot causing damage to the track.

I was asking Scott's demise. Did he really get crushed by a giant?

I actually think Flying Buffeboard doesn't look bad compared to the other crappy characters. Was he inspired by this class of locomotive? brit31.deviantart.com/art/The-…

I only have one negative thing to say on this batch. Well two but they connected. Forgive me if this sounds like a rant as well my friend.
Mortimer is absolutely a horrendous idea for a living rolling stock. Mainly because just imagine it being your sole purpose to ferry such a cargo. Plus I know where Sodor Research comes from blasted horror film trying to destroy wholesome locomotive ideas. I do like the parody Dieseld199 made for his Tomica Thomas series. Wooden toy Thomas "cheep merchandiseing?! No!!!!!" Best joke with that was the Shed number was the Wooden Thomas' Serial number. Heheh.
Like I said those are my only two gripes all the others are goofy enough to make me laugh. Sad thing Mortimer has some real life connections. I'm sure you have heard of the Necropolis Railway of London. Those poor rolling stock and LMS engines. Huh just realized that this creepiness is just at the right time of year. Samhain or Halloween is just around the corner.

From a character stand point they aren't. It's from their real life faults that they would end up on this list. The T1 while a engine I myself like for it's design and also how the coupling rods are built had many flaws.
Too little of it's weight was put on the drivers and as such it stalled as bad as a tectonic class (A engine which had valve designs that could end up literally pushing towards each other with the back wheels going forward and the front set going backwards). As such they were doomed to be scraped.
Now if the T1 could work on UK rails in real life and there was a chance for one to be tried The Fat Controller (Sir Topham Hatt if you prefer) might have had a chance to sort it out. After all in the RWS he had worked under Stanier and was a engineer designing Gordon's running plate when the engine was rebuilt and fixing all the flaws Boco had through design (Metro-vics were great engines but had a few faults in their engines. Sort of like Derrick had with his cooling) A T1 could have been fixed into a new better working class a T1x if you will.

What I meant was that he's based on a real locomotive. All the other ones were based on random ideas.

Well they were basing him off what I already said. Wheel slip is bad on a engine and the rails.
