Starting from top left we have:

Klonk the Cave Engine - Built during dinosaur times, Klonk pulled truck full of rocks and bones, meat and other things, being on the job for millions and millions of years until the ice age hit, freezing him for a millennia on ancient Sodor until he was unfrozen when he was found in a mine, people and engines alike were amazed by how he was still able to run, pulling more modern trains and impressing many, Klonk however was not used to non-Flintstonian society as he was known to hit coal tipples with his club and knocked Rosie out to make her his bride.

Blue Angel the Big Wheel Engine - Built by one Sigi Strasser in Germany, built for speed and to run in both directions, Blue Angel was just another rival to both Gordon and Spencer as both engine thought he was too insane to live, both engines with Caitlin and Connor challenged him to a race, Blue angel was shockingly fast as he was about to reach the Vicarstown bridge, he made a turn too quickly, came off the rails and ended up burying himself in a graveyard, rather convenient really.

Peary the Cold Air Engine - Peary was built to run on a Sterling-like driving system that used cold air to drive him instead of using steam, making him safe to touch and more comfortable to drive during the summer, but as winter came Peary was found frozen in his tracks, unable to go anywhere, needing a steam engine to pull him to a station and shunt him away.

Norman the Cable Car - Norman spent most of his life in San Francisco, rolling up and down hills watching over a hundred years as the city was turned from quaint mining village to car chase and crime central station, Norman saw much crime arise as he decided one faithful year in 20XX to convert to standard gauge and work for Sodor, he would start work in Crovan's gate, roving up and down hill-like streets until a truck came and smacked from behind, crunching him instantly as he was broke in half, the front the one part to function.

Laramie the Cyborg Engine - Sodor Research's attempt at a real life Shed 17, placing a woman's brain into the new engine and having her run about the island pulling trains and such, the other engines were shocked to see her running around, however she started showing some mental breakdowns from being a locomotive and kept realizing her situation, making nonsensical gibberish and dressing herself in streamers like they were clothes.

Wathomas - Thomas' greedy counterpart from the negative island of Rodos, playing mean tricks on everyone, smashing trucks and scaring them, Wathomas brought his two goods vans Wa-Annie and Wa-Clarabel along, both rude and selfish, he and his goods vans would cause chaos throughout the island, setting the windmill on fire, leaving derailers around, painting tunnels on brick walls and having James run into it and into a delicatessen. Topham got steamed and tried to find Wathomas only to find his car's tires replaced with baby stroller wheels. Wathomas had managed to return home the night before with a hearty "Wa-Ha-Ha!" as he took off.

Zadoc the Steam Man - Built by a man named Zadoc P. Dederick back in 1868, The steam man pulled wagons around in special exhibitions on the possibility of a personal motorized vehicle, however due to a museum fire that had the roof collapse upon him, thought to be destroyed until he pulled himself out, managing to leave his old wagon behind and wonder into a barnyard, spending years in there until he was found by some teenager who thought he was just some metallic art project until his dad found Zadoc and managed to sell him online, soon having him sold and exchanged around multiple owners until Sir Topham Hatt got the steam man and had him restored with new passenger wagon, having him now operate on rails, Zadoc would pull trains around and be a novelty to tourists, Zadoc however would sometimes decouple from his wagon, wonder off track and even wonder inside places, going into The Fat Controller's office and even once disguising himself as Topham, having the engines going all around the island getting fast food and delivering it to Knapford with Sir Topham Hatt bewildered he got so much McDonald's, he later punched Zadoc's lights out.

Sokko the Anime R.M.U. - Made in Japan as an experiment in future rail travel Sokko was to be innovative, able to haul freight and passengers at speeds ranging from 250 to 300 mph, however the peer review groups felt that the pharaoh-head was considered rather lame, Sokko was soon placed in a shed for years in Shinjuku until he was found by Hiro and had him brought over, from what he had heard, Topham was ready to have Sokko become a regular on the railway, until he ended up going full speed on Gordon's Hill and went into orbit.

Steam Engine Enterprise - Built to advertise the new Star Trek movie, it would pull a train of shuttlecraft-shaped coaches to try to advertise the movie and a series of electronics to the passengers while they rode, however the engine was not too practical and ran out of steam on each stop, the boiler design being too hard to maintain and complicated.

Magnum the Police Engine - Bought along with the riot wagons to help solve crimes on Sodor, move screwy criminals and of course investigate frequent accidents, Magnum was known for his excellency in the U.S. and was bought as steam was going out of style, he would travel fast and help put crime to bed early, but of course came his major flaws, his brutality when it comes to any suspect, using his baton to clobber engines that went out of line like Diesel 10 when he tried to steal some troublesome trucks, having a naughty brakevan shunted so hard it sent him flying off track and exploded in an open field. That along with his absolute hatred of political correctness, willing to fight for those who have the less popular opinion to protect it and preserve individualism, soccer moms hated him and protested his appearance.

Gary the Caterpillar Engine - An engine that can go on roads and rails, having both connections for rolling stock and trailers, Gary was bought to be able to use special spots on Sodor to do direct delivery, go from rails to roads and carry his convertible train all the way to destinations only accessible to road. Reason for rejection? In the words of Sonic the Hedgehog, "You're too slow!"

Kitsekage the Edgy Engine - A edgy "Intellectual, Deathfat, Gender-FlexiWeeboo-TransfattyAcidsexual" (Presented as a "Drag-Monkeyking"), Glama-Male-Feminist, Nonbinary, "NeruoHyperUltraUberMegaTurboAlphaNeoNinjaMetaPrefix-Typical", Preferred pronouns being "Sn'ee", "Sn'uh" and "Sn'eventy", has Bowser, Sephiroth, Sora from Kingdom Hearts, Freddy Mercury and Danny Devito as headmates, is a "Japanese Starship Tri-Gendered Plantisaurus-Otherkin" (And Knuckles featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series), Anorexic Socialist and Vegan Brony. The Fat Controller bought him off of Craigslist and had him pull low-buget passenger trains. Big mistake, from day one he was nothing but a bane to all including Diesel 10 himself, already getting the poor villain violently derailed for saying that he was a stronger engine than Mavis, tried to push Spencer down a hill to "Teach him a lesson" on the case that "Grey is NOT a superior color to red paint as it it racist to Native Americans and demeans them you @#$%^& grey supremacist $%^&lord!!!!", punched Percy's eye out for saying "I prefer the Wii-U since it's cheaper and more fun." when talking about Wii-U vs. Xbox and of course the worst of it all, getting into an all-out brawl with Magnum, both engines clobbering the crap out of each other until Magnum managed to pull out his gun and Kitsekage got his katana out, the police engine shooting the Edgy engine through the fedora and blowing his boiler sky-high.

David the Perfect D-Bag Engine - A suave and sleek charmer who always seems to know what to say to the ladies, coming to Sodor on Valentine's Day and sweet-talking to every female he met, getting Thomas, James, Henry and other guy engines jealous, while he was in his shed fast asleep, Hiro and Henry shoved him into a bag and had him mailed to Timbuktu, Topham was shocked at his disappearance and sent out missing posters in hopes of finding him again.

Shinobu and Yemma the Oni Brother Engines - Two yokai that ended up in the same engine body somewhere in Alaska, both sides of the engine often never work together, often dropping logs and wood chippings off of their cars, they were sent to Misty Island to help Bash, Dash and Ferdinand in their duties, Yemma trying to hang out with Dash while Shinobu with Bash, one day the brothers just got too angry at each other and ripped apart, both going full power with their magic as they caused half of Misty island to catch aflame while the other half went into an new ice age. Everyone got real steamed at them.

Jimmy the Barrel Engine - A birthday gift to Topham's grandson Stephen, Jimmy was a virtually unpowered engine that was coupled to the front of the train and had an engine push from behind to help generate a childlike illusion and to have Stephen play engineer, this sounds rather sweet an innocent huh? Why would he be rejected? Mostly it was the fact he and Stephen were often going to Elementary school frat parties and drinking gallons of lager from the tap.

Spiro the Hippy Engine - A granola-munching fool right out of the 60's, normally seen with his rose sunglasses and smell of marijuana billowing from his stack, he didn't get the acceptance as he was either high as a kite half the time or just babbling on how "The Man" was putting everyone down.

Astrotrain - The Decepticon triple changer had found Sodor to be a haven, wondering about the island for all that was there to see, he ended up not in filming as he was owned by Hasbro.

Clooney the Vacuum Tube Engine - Built for "Project Futropolis" a EPCOTT Center-like city where innovation rules! During the 50's, Clooney would haul delicate computer parts or robots to parts of the city as it would be fully automated and run by the vacuum-tube powered monolith known as "Colossus", like Clooney, was operated on vacuum tubes and magnetic tape drives, however interest waned as the 60's rolled in as the futuristic theme park was considered "Too corny". Clooney was left to rust in the deepest corners of the city until The Fat Controller watch Tomorrowland, he later looked up Futropolis and found the old engine still there, waiting to be saved, he brought Clooney over to Sodor to pull some of the more modern coaches to show that the island can be a mix of future and present, the only problem with Clooney? He was not used to riding on rough rails as it jiggled his tubes causing him to short-circuit and break down.

Goldberg the Syringe Engine - A engine made to teach kids the importance on visiting the doctor's office, however research showed that the toy version would be dangerous to kids for obvious reasons.

Jared the Subway Car - Jared was bought by Topham to start the new Peel Godred Subway line, having him with other coaches going around underground and delivering passengers, however people kept thinking he had something to do with Subway's former kid-diddling spokespedo Fogle.
