Description
Oh geez, this took me forever to do!But finally after goodness knows how long, I have finally finished the tutorial on how I make the pets!
I originally made it for my fellow artists at the Hollows, but I figure other people may be interested in it as well. Hope that it will help or at least sate some curiosity.
NOTE: I use Photoshop CS3 but I am positive it can be used on later and earlier versions, as well as programs like Paint Shop Pro or SAI having similar capabilities.

I have a question for you, do you know of any sites where I could sell pet art? I used to know a few but now they've all closed and I've not been able to find a place. I'd greatly appreciate if you'd let me know :3 thanks

That bat is amazing!
I'll have to try this. It's never looked good when I've tried in the past, but this tutorial was awesome. Thanks for making it!

I shall definitely have to try this UV!
The Technique looks fun, as well as the style of lighting and shading you do.
I tend to just use overlay/mutilpy a layer for my shading and lighting in my work, been meaning to try a few new ways of doing them.
Thanks for doing this

Yeah I used to do that as well with my work, been experimenting with lots of other ways.
Good luck and if you do give it a go I'd love to see the result

Whow... Thats some realy well done tutorial! Read through it in all detail and I realy have to say - the measure between descrition and depicting the individual steps works out brilliantly. Also explaining the shortcuts is a good benefit ( thought only, when one uses PS )
Thanks for the great insight in how you draw the pets of the hollows ^..^

As a fully traditional artist...I didn't understand most of what that said...but I enjoyed reading it nonetheless...made me feel like I was learning something...though I'm sure I wasn't much. I like your pet, though

Yeah, I can understand how it would be confusing if you are not familiar with using digital media.
Thank you though and well I should be posting the pet itself soon.

Wow that's awesome. The cel shading looks soft, even though there's no blurring in it. Must be the colors you chose.

Thanks!
and not sure as to what I do that makes it seem soft, maybe the way I tone it down combines with the colors involved
