This isn't an AU or something, this is something which could and actually does happen between Jonathan and Velkan and very much part of their sexual dynamic.
Inspired by a picture I had in my favs for a long time (Dom ) and the final nail in the coffin of me deciding that I will stop attempting to do renders in just one layer. I hate the lack of control over the result which that gives. Also, I will stop using candles which have a built-in emissive glow because the results you get usually have nothing on what you can do by hand.
The original render was much larger and I cancelled it after almost 20h but there was so much ugly light grain still around and the candles looked like little unrealistic spotlights to me. Actually, there is a candelabra standing right next to Velkan which explains the glow on his side.
My uploads are few lately, for which I sincerely apologise.

This is an extremely sensual piece. You can practically feel the apprehension and anticipation coming from Velkan in the way Jonathan is tenderly holding his chin, thumb in mouth, while also holding the crop. Incredible work!
On a side note regarding candles... have you tried Ghost Lights? You set up the candle with a fainter emission setting, but place a primitive sphere around the flame (doesn't have to be a detailed sphere, it doesn't need a lot of faces). You make the sphere emit light too, but reduce its opacity to 0.0000001. The sphere becomes invisible in the scene, but still emits its light. That way you get a less bright flame, yet more light in the scene. There are a couple of products for ghost lights, but truth is you don't need them. Any surface can be turned into one just by making it emissive, and setting it's opacity to 0.0000001.

Don't worry about it. I do the same thing. I keep them on my notifications until I feel I can give a response my full attention. I do the same with images I'm watching. I've still to comment on your latest "Velkan" submission.
I think once you get the hang of ghost lights you'll either think of them as a fairly useful tool or you'll think "how did I live without this???" Always useful to have an extra source of light that doesn't show up as something physical in the scene and doesn't have any unsightly reflections like spotlights and pointlights do.

I love images like this that show a different dynamic than what you'd expect to see between two characters. It's always nice to see the roles switched, just knowing the two involved switch it up for fun, or for exploration.
I think too often we see couples that a switch immediately is seen as either an AU or the Dom "breaking" or something. Instead of just two people having fun.

So, a few years ago I had a dream that combined various things that had been on my conscious mind at the time. A friend and I were roleplaying a relationship on a game, and Jackson from Teen Wolf was his character, while my OC, Soo, was mine. Meanwhile, Jackson's actor had just released a few teaser photos of him in bondage gear, and I'd been watching Drag Race season 8 for background noise.
In this dream, Jackson and Soo decided to try bondage and at one point Soo used a riding crop on Jackson's butthole. This image brought that dream back to me, and I just wanted to share that.

The environment is a preset arrangement from the set "Gothic Vignettes" sold on Daz. Sadly, some of the assets are really low quality (the books! I had to remove the titles. One literally said "MAGIC" in all caps) and it takes insanely long for the light grain to clear. And as you see the candles are way too bright. Still, it worked for the picture
