Description

Jonathan and Velkan are send out to investigate the reclusive community of Darkwater, after a dear friend of Elisabeth's went missing there. Darkwater sits on a peninsula on the Scottish coast, connected only by a single stretch of rock.

According to local history, an earthquake once cut off the town from the surrounding coast. The villages in the vicinity are ripe with rumours about the town, from strange lights to countless disappearances and the ever-present smell of fish.

The two investigators find themselves faced with the town's rather unfriendly population, who doesn't seem thrilled at their persistent poking around. When their car breaks down and they're forced to stay the night, things spiral out of control. A note, shoved under the door of their hotel room, tells them to get out as long as they still can. Soon, Jonathan and Velkan find themselves hunted through the desolate streets of the coastal community and forced to protect a young local, who wants nothing more than getting out Darkwater. A sentiment the two share with him.
