July 14th

Tariq surprised me today. He rented a car
and we just drove up to Brighton and
spent the day there.
First, we went to the pier and totally
had way too much ice cream. I wanted
to go for a swim but the water is so
bloody cold. We sat on the beach and
talked instead.
I didn't want the day to end...

Later on, I asked a bloke on the
beach if he would take a photo of
us. Tariq worried he might mind.
He always worries so much. Really
has to stop. Who cares? And the
guy was super nice anyway.

Jon said I should post this photo on
Instagram. We'd be a total thirst trap.
I have no idea what he's talking about.

I totally wanted to show Tariq's and Richard's relationship. The Ifrit who tries to cope with the very fact that he was turned into a supernatural being (he used to be human) and who never had a relationship before due to his Muslim upbringing and the young wolf who "is not right in the head" - his own words. I adore this couple. In a way, they are the purest of my OCs.
