sorry for the day late update! was shoppin' all day yesterday and forgot to post it when I got home
you don't have to worry about why goldenrod hasn't burned to the ground-- most gyms expect people to be using some crazy powerful attacks sometimes, and all gyms are specially proofed to handle stuff like that. also, typical fire attacks aren't really as strong as "actual" fire anyway, which is something I'll elaborate more on in an extra talking about types (double also, it's made a lot scarier than it actually is for effect ;V)
in case it seems confusing, just a small reminder that this isn't an unusual occurrence

Every time I look at a new update, I take in the vibrant colors and the expressive lines and poses and I just love all of it! I think I even nommed you for best art style in this year's Extravaganza b/c I was so wowed by how gorgeous your updates are.

just finished reading through the whole battle so far and it's definitely been well worth the wait!! i always admire your use of vibrant colors, but this page in particular has me starry-eyed at the way you've used them to really amp up this emotional scene. it's absolutely gorgeous! also loving the techniques you used to portray leon's mental distress (poor guy!! ;m; ) like the "melting"/fiery effect and the rough scribbles and the huge blocks of black at the end like mmmMMMM that's some good shit.
haha anyway loving the comic so far!! it's definitely a huge inspiration for me and i'm so glad to see you updating again. ; w ; can't wait for more!

really awesome way of showing PTSD. I don't have personal experience with it, but it's really emotionally intense and the colors and abstraction really lend to the crippling fear
