I seriously. Don't know what to say about this. I don't even have a title for it. This is definitely one of the few pieces I put a huge amount of work into compositionally. But something still seems off... I dunno. I'm tired. And I've been staring at this way too long lol.The two OCs are 's characters. The scene suggestion sorta started as just messing around in the Livestream chat room that turned into... whatever the hell this is. I guess a slice of life scene for college/post-college life in the Pokemon world? Yeah, let's go with that.
Now to answer some questions. Yes, Zurusukin is smoking a joint, yes that's a beer bottle, yes the dude's playing Sonic [Classic Collection], and yes, they probably got that couch off the side of the road lol. Oh, and the posters are the commissioner's dog and Megan Fox. derp
And why the silver Gamecube controllers? From personal experience, my original purple controller crapped out on me a few years ago forcing me to replace it with a silver one. That's it really.
Tentatively opening this to critiques. The perspective's all sorts of fucked up, I know. Realistically, that room is waaaaay too small. My bad. Fucking perspective how does it work? Idk. Help me.
Also should this be flagged as mature? I personally don't think so but others might have different ideas. There are far worse things on this site than a Pokemon smoking weed, really.

To me what seems off would probably be textures. On the human characters you see small spaces with texture, then on the pokemon large spaces filled with more or less solid color. I think they just seem to stand out.
I was going to start off by saying, however, that this was actually a fairly compelling piece. I love the way you've grounded the pokemon/people into their environment, and... there just some sort of lunacy to this that seems uncommon. Everyone usually has their pokemon and trainers out in the woods doing something adventurous, but in a domestic setting... they seem more alive somehow.
Scrafty is by far the most successful, then maybe haunter, and lasty Simisear seems to stick out the most. The way the perspective seems to build upward momentum as indicated through scrafty and the girl, I'd expect the angle of the other characters to be more of an "on the ground looking up" perspective, but Simisear (and the arm of the couch) sort of hamper the continuation of that upward movement.
It's really the couch portion in general. Th dude on it really could stay put, but tilting the back portion of the couch down and then adjusting the arms could even fix it. The top 'line' of the couch I'd keep as it, it just looks like the couch's back legs have magazines stacked under them to tilt the couch forward a bit, and I think since the couch takes up such a huge portion of the composition it's really the only thing contributing the the wonky perspective.
(That grew into something a lot longer than I'd ever have planned.)

Because of this pic, I've gotten very used to and a bit fond of Scrafty, I don't why but besides the fact that he smokes a joint (-_-) he looks like a Pokemon you'd like to be around with and possibly a great gamer!
