I seriously. Don't know what to say about this. I don't even have a title for it. This is definitely one of the few pieces I put a huge amount of work into compositionally. But something still seems off... I dunno. I'm tired. And I've been staring at this way too long lol.The two OCs are 's characters. The scene suggestion sorta started as just messing around in the Livestream chat room that turned into... whatever the hell this is. I guess a slice of life scene for college/post-college life in the Pokemon world? Yeah, let's go with that.
Now to answer some questions. Yes, Zurusukin is smoking a joint, yes that's a beer bottle, yes the dude's playing Sonic [Classic Collection], and yes, they probably got that couch off the side of the road lol. Oh, and the posters are the commissioner's dog and Megan Fox. derp
And why the silver Gamecube controllers? From personal experience, my original purple controller crapped out on me a few years ago forcing me to replace it with a silver one. That's it really.
Tentatively opening this to critiques. The perspective's all sorts of fucked up, I know. Realistically, that room is waaaaay too small. My bad. Fucking perspective how does it work? Idk. Help me.
Also should this be flagged as mature? I personally don't think so but others might have different ideas. There are far worse things on this site than a Pokemon smoking weed, really.
I have one more commission left but after that... no more. I want a break lol. COMMISSIONS ARE CLOSED thank you~
PS- is the new way DA has the descriptions REALLY ugly for everyone else? Jesus.

this is awesome it kinda shows a more adult side to pokemon thats not seen alot and shows how close their relationship is to humans and seriously i would luv it if it were real as for the perspective i didnt even notice until u brought it up its still all sorts of awesome and very realistic

At first I didn't know what you meant about the room being too small, until I noticed the ceiling and realized that if either of the humans stood up, their heads would touch X3 besides that, I think it's awesome! I love the modern, adult spin with the beer and the joint, and the rating is just fine the way it is. Awesome job!

Haha, exactly. I kinda figured that out early on but at the same time I really wanted the ceiling to show JUST a little... Not sure if that was the right decision or not but it felt right at the time.

Well, it took me a while to notice, because I was a bit busy staring at all the other awesome, but it certainly didn't ruin the picture. I don't know why, but I think it might make it a teeny bit better X3 it's sad because the corner just looks right there, but if you took it away the room would be the right height :3 poor corner.

And I don't know, this looks AMAZING, I don't see anything wrong in it (I'm kind of sleepy though so I'm not even trying). And I don't think there's any need for putting this in mature, I've seen FAR WORSE that didn't even had the mature tag and should have. Ugh.
And just a question, are those Sonic Classic Collection real or hand-drawn?
I see them as hand-drawn. But each pokemon and those characters are really well done.

LOL the posters and the Sonic game are not hand drawn, I just found/was given some existing photos/images and ran them through photoshop to get the right effect. Thank you~

nat, the rating is fine. Is it just me, or am I the only one to notice/comment on the shiny haunter? The joint and the beer are fine and add a nice touch.

The picture is very well put together. I love how everyone have their own personality in this picture and how no one looks out of place. Wish I could say more without sounding dumb, but I really think this turned out incredibly well.
