Description
My tutorial on cat heads can be found here: [link]When viewing a lot of Warriors groups, I noticed there were a lot of fans out there who are trying hard, but needed a few nudges in the right direction. That is why I created this tutorial.
Obviously, I am by no means an experienced pro, I just hope that this will help some people out. If this tutorial is received well, I will continue and do one on the body, and then perhaps a miscellaneous one for things such as expression.
Here are some tutorials on dA that I find helpful.

Many thanks to ~taumeow and ~JadeRavenwing for pointing out and fixing some mistakes I made in this tutorial.
EDIT: THANK YOU FOR THE DD (JENNA AND GIGI)... WEH IM OVERWHELMED...

very cool!
it's weird how many people think cats and dogs look the same⦠I doubt they would say the same thing about wolfes and lions

Thanks!
Yeah, felids and canids have some similarities, but they have tons of big differences and nuances as well.

well, I'm not sure about different cat races, but when it comes to dogs, humans created some races that don't look dog like at all anymore (I think this is not so much the case with cats, tho)
I think a dog and cat have as much in common with each other as do cows with horses

Oh yes, dogs vary so MUCH compared to cats, it's unbelievable (but kind of neat!)
Exactly! They're somewhat similar, but that have a lot of differences as well.

i mean, there are similarities⦠but the same things they share with humans, especially when you thinkg about the bone structure and how certain things are shared between all mammals
i love to find out tiny differences or just notice small things that added together result in something completely else

great tutorial, funnily enough as i was reading the bit about the legs my kitten came up and stretched up to me as if to say 'see I've got long legs!'

I didn't read the whole thing, but rather I skimmed it, and it provided some very good points. I'm grateful you showed that cat bodies don't taper; I've been wondering why my model looks weird and now it seems so obvious! You learn something new everyday. Thanks for sharing this; much appreciated.

It is quite long, I don't blame you! If I ever think of anything else to add, I'll be sure to create another or extend the original. I'm happy I could help and doubly happy to hear that it benefitted you!

Pfft this was a huge help. I mean, a huuuge help. D: I spent about an hour digging through pages trying to find some sort of anatomically correct tutorial, but I really couldn't seem to find any until I stumbled on this one. Not ONLY did you help explain stuff, you linked to other useful tutorials. Hats off. Thank you. c: <3
