No--as far as I know, it's canon that all the other humans made it to Asgore and were killed by him. Sans' discomfort with green soul magic here is more about being on the receiving end of things. Chapter 7's going to get into it in much more detail, don't worry -u-

While yes in canon (or Classic AU) all the souls made it to Asgore however in some Aus theres a case where one of the souls are killed by undyne (Undertale Green's soul of Kindness) or by Sans before his promise (Reministance's soul of Integrity) so since this is (technically) a Gaster Blaster Au the idea of Sans killing the soul of kindness and Undyne's Green soul ability giving sans a nightmare wouldn't be to far off of being connected.

Maybe so, but I'm someone who generally likes to work within what i know about canon and extrapolate from it, so in some ways it's not much of an 'alternate' universe

Things I’ve noticed about the bone puppers, just after reading this page
Papyrus’ pupper:
large, has floating bones that don’t really do anything other than look cool, heart-shaped nose socket, generally showy, long tail with little on it that serve little purpose, very emotional, loves praise, and very quick to the trigger(probably because of the emotional-ness -much like papyrus himself.
Sans’ pupper: compact, relatively simple and practical design with very obviously deadly spikes grounded to the pupper itself, extra spikes on legs that would discourage any close combat, teeth like a saber-tooth tiger, a tail that fuses together into what reminds me very strongly of a trench mace with a knife at the end, and instead of attacking when sans feels very threatened, takes a moment to assess the situation before deciding this isn’t the time to attack- much like sans himself does.
Not a whole lot to go off of with this being the first page and sans’ pup shows up in and all, but the design was going to nag at me until I put the things I noticed down somewhere.

having read further into the comic, i now know that sans’ beastie does get emotional-especially when frisk is involved. Also it acts more like a cat than a dog. Bone kitty.

sans’ bonecat is far more like him than I anticipated, also I noticed it’s claws are far more like daggers than pap’s pup’s claws

Ah man, I love this analysis! you picked up on a lot of what kinda just felt right when I was designing the blasters, as well as how i write their personalities--my one note is that i had a scythe in mind for the tail blade on sans' attack =u= Otherwise, you're pretty spot on and i love when people take the time to analyze my art

I can definitely see the scythe, esp. after the cursory glance. Design wise? 10/10. I can imagine they’re a pain to draw, and worse to keep on-model, but excellent in many regards. Also love how sans’ bonecat can simultaneously look murderous and adorable.

Hehehe, it can be a hassle, but there's also a sort of rhythm to it so it's not so bad; plus, i don't worry about keeping them on-model because that would actually be a pain. i just wanna tell my story! One of my original goals when I was preparing to make this comic was pointedly telling myself i wasn't gonna try to make every line perfectly clean, because doing that would slow me down and probably lead to a lot more strain on my drawing hand--ultimately draining my motivation to work =u=;;
And yes! I'm a firm believer that any sort of animal can be cute, even giant skeleton dragons, so i'm always happy to hear when other people think so too ^^

Ehehe, it does take a while--any comic page with wide views of the blasters take noticeably longer to draw than ones that just feature the regular cast. But, I don't really mind it--I think skeletons are cool, and they follow patterns that mean it's not too complicated once you kinda understand what's going on. I don't bother with trying to stay consistent with like, exactly how many vertebrae are in the neck or tail or anything--that would really slow me down and keep me from telling the story, and that's not what I'm here for XD

Yeah, that's a healthy approach. If you draw a comic, character designs are extra important, because you're gonna draw these guys hundreds of times.

Even without the story, two dragons is a handful--they're liable to get into lots of trouble out of boredom =u=; So you'd have to make sure you can keep them entertained! ^^

How quickly Sans' blaster goes from intimidating as hell to adorably concerned is still amazing to me. A head-tilt and a vaguely confused noise is all it takes and I love it!

Well... yeah XD It's dark, Sans is still half-asleep, and he hasn't seen the whole thing yet--all he's registered is 'big skeleton beast' and as far as he knows, Papyrus' blaster is the only thing that fits the bill XD
