~~ Lowen's Cloak Concept ~~

This is one of the ideas that I'm working on for Lowen's Cloak; Here's my thinking behind it.

I didn't want to bog down Lowen with crazy amount of badges of honour or armour. Simply because Lowen doesn't wear armour. For those of you that can recall ( and for those those you can't, check out here -> [link] , [link] ), Lowen is clad in a natural amrour called "Soul Steel".

The cloak is used more for sheilding more the elements than anything else really. It also acts as his badge of office. I also wanted to add a Roman/ Spartan feel with the clasp that holds the cloak together with a Fourrageres warped around the cloak ( you believe how long it took me to find that word, Fourrageres ). The cloak is red in colour; red being part of his family heraldry.

The badge is Lowen's personal heraldry of a Raging Lion; symbolizing his courage and fierceness. It's also the the symbol for my Space Marine Chapter... but that's off topic. The badge also works as a clasp, holding his cloak together ( did I just repeat myself? ). With one hand, Lowen can unclasp his cloak, pulling it off in one fluid motion, making it easier for him to fight if he needs it. So, yeah, that's my thinking.
