'fraid I don't have any criticism. I'm a fan of cross hatching and prefer it not cleaned and messy so I like this.
You've used the method effectively. I have issues with seeing the pencil turnarounds or loops though (middle of the beak for example). I don't know why, just dislike it. Maybe because I see it as a series of straight or slightly curved lines and such a sharp curve doesn't fit with the rest. lol.
Anyway, in some places it gives a more feathery feel.
Nice contrast in the shading but there could be a wider depth to it. Mainly the front of the neck. The darkest parts are quite stark. (Too many Iron Man ads chose that word) To my eye there are 4 separate colours: white, light grey, middle grey and then black. I think it needs a dark grey. (Hurrah for my explanations)
But then it appears at that point your interested trailed off. lol.
