At last, a picture of Blurr and Melly together!
I've been itching to draw these two again. Now that I'm getting the hang of "Transformers", drawing them is a lot of fun! Needless to say, I get the biggest kick out of drawing Blurr! I absolutely can't get enough of that handsome blue racer. Here, you see Melly and Blurr in action. I just got the idea of them sprawled on the floor, with Melly's glasses knocked sideways and Blurr slowly picking himself up. I titled this thing "Plan B", because Blurr very much looks like he's saying: "Okay, that didn't work; time for Plan B!" I
how this turned out; it looks like an authentic screencap! As to what Melly is wearing, that's supposed to be some kind of exo-suit. After all, if she's helping Blurr out, she's gonna need something to protect herself, lest she be squashed like a bug, or fried to a crisp. And though it looks rather plain, her suit's equipped with some special stuff that helps her tackle Decepticons and other enemies.
Of course, her suit doesn't make her totally invincible, but it sure comes in handy!

I dared to take the plunge last year, when I made a resolution to try to draw new things. It's still tricky, and of course I need plenty of references, but it's starting to become fun.

Its a lot different than G-1 but I like both. Actually I think its a bit harder to draw the TFA designs.

In the G1 universe, you usually had to wait until someone addressed another bot by their name to know who they were. (At least, that's how it is in my case.) In the TFA universe, they're a little more distinctive.
