Description
This is how Terence looks in the form of a unicorn. Originally, he did start out as a unicorn, but then he had somewhat of a mishap involving a very special kind of magic, which turned him into a human being. And although he looks and acts like a man now, he still retains some of his unicorn characteristics. For the umpteenth time, do NOT steal this. I put a lot of heart and soul into this character, and I don't want anyone else -- and by that, I mean ANYONE -- snatching him away from me and taking all the credit, saying to everybody: "Oh, look, I drew this, this is all my work, aren't I cool?"
I really appreciate your honesty, and gift art is welcome anytime.

Interesting anatomy. Cartoonish, but in a cute way that seems to fit him.

This is old; I can now draw Terence with a little more realism. But thank you for the comment, all the same.

Go for it! I'd love to see him in your style. I've already got my share of the trade drawn on paper; now I just need to scan it and color it and post it.

Changing your name, huh? That's okay, we can still be friends.
Thanks for your kind words! By the way, just out of pure curiosity, do you think Terence looks better as a unicorn, or a human?
Personally, I love him both ways, but I like him just a teensy, weensy bit better as a human.

I like him both ways as well, but I just like the unicorn a little, tiny bit better. Probably because I'm so into horses.

He's really beautiful! Just for fun, do you believe there were ever any real unicorns?

Thank you! As to your question, I'm not entirely sure. There COULD have been something like a unicorn at one time. Science is always discovering something new.
Like, for instance, if you told people two or three hundred years ago that dinosaurs used to exist, they would have thought you were crazy.
But scientists found the bones, and now there's evidence that dinosaurs did once exist.

It makes you wonder. A popular belief about unicorns is, they refused to go on Noah's Ark and were drowned in the Great Flood. There's an interesting bit in the "Noah's Ark" segment of Fantasia 2000 where Donald Duck is watching the animals go into the Ark, and off to the side he sees a dragon, a unicorn and a phoenix sitting around laughing instead of getting on board.
According to a Wikipedia article [link] , it's possible that people mistook certain antelopes and other animals for unicorns. Marco Polo thought he had seen some, but they were likely rhinos.

Another popular belief is that unicorns did board Noah's ark, but they were both males (or they were both females).
The unicorn's name derives from the Latin term "unicornis", which literally means "one-horned" or "single-horned". So, really, any animal with a single horn can be referred to as a unicorn.

My personal favorite theory comes from a Gary Larson cartoon: Noah and some other animals are standing over a hoofed corpse. Noah says, "Well, so much for the unicorns. From now on, the carnivores are confined to C deck."

Oh, dear...no wonder they're extinct.
That's right! So I reckon a rhino could technically be one. I prefer the fantasy-type, though.
