Description
Presenting the fourth (and so far, final) page of my comic. This is where Terence appears as a man for the very first time. I'll post pages 2 and 3 as soon as I can figure out how to draw them. I promise, the gap will be filled in.And when you comment, kindly refrain from making any wisecracks concerning Terence's lack of clothing. Unicorns obviously don't wear garments, so what do you expect?
And don't worry; this scene is kept clean and G-rated, in my novel as well as my comic.
**EDIT** For those of you who aren't familiar with the other characters (which, I assume, means practically everybody), the elf with the bright orange hair is named Aldridge. You may have seen a couple pictures of him in my gallery. He's about 17, in human years. In my story, elves age and mature pretty much the same way as humans do, though they live several hundreds of years or so longer.
And the girl with the sloppy blonde ponytail is Wendye. Yes, that's how you really spell her name. One of my friends once pointed out to me that I'd spelled her name wrong, and I answered that I put the 'e' there on purpose. She's about 19 years old.
And Terence is about 150, but by the standards of a unicorn, that's equivalent to an 18-year-old.
So, in a manner of speaking, all three of them are teenagers.

You won't find the original story here, or anywhere, I'm afraid. That's because I intend to publish it, make it into a real book. I'll keep everybody informed on that.

This scene is nearly exactly the same than in The Last Unicorn from Peter Beagle, when Shmendrick changes the Unicorn into Lady Amalthea.
Do you know Terence is the name of an ancient latin writter?

By the way, I know I've seen the name Terence before. I don't know the writer, but I know the origin of the name is Latin.
To tell you the truth, I decided to name my character Terence while browsing through a book of baby names. Then my eyes fell upon "Terence", and it just stuck. I knew it was perfect, and I've called my character Terence ever since.

I'll admit there are similarities between my novel and the Last Unicorn, but I swear I am NOT plagiarizing. I am NOT a copycat. Trust me, when you read my novel (I intend to publish it), you'll notice the difference. There is a difference between passing off someone's work as your own, and basing your work off someone else's work. Look at how many works were inspired by Lord of the Rings.
And Mr. Beagle isn't the only one in the world who can write about a unicorn becoming human, is he? Furthermore, his story isn't entirely original; I see plenty of other works referenced in that piece. There really aren't that many "original" pieces these days. Almost everything you'll read or watch is based, however loosely, on something else. Like I said, there is a difference between basing and downright copying.

I've never said you were plagiarizing, and I agree about the difference between inspiring and copying.
There are some beautifull pictures in your gallery, and I'll read your stories on DA page as soon as I can!

You do beautiful work, and I love seeing characters from Disney and Narnia and such. But I have a question:
I don't know if you've seen the Movie "The Last Unicorn," based on a book by Peter S. Beagle. In it, in one of the final scenes the unicorn (this time a female) is turned into a human (named Amalthea) by a young, inexperienced magician (named Schmendrik, who is human instead of elf.) And both unicorn and magician are followed around by a woman named Molly Grue.
I'm not accusing you of blatant plagiarism, but I might warn you of the fact, just in case someone else looks at this comic and makes the same connection. I can see the differences, but be aware that others might notice.
Great job, anyway.

Yes, I will admit this is based loosely on "The Last Unicorn". But the overall story is WAY different, I assure you. It's not like Peter Beagle is the only one who can write about a unicorn turning into a human, right? Mr. Beagle based his book on plenty of other things. I noticed plenty of bits in his story that come from other stories and poems.

I know. I just wanted you to have the heads-up, in case some crazy fan girl came on your page raving about copyrights and stuff. Best to be prepared for that sort of thing.
Love your stuff! Terence is such a cutie!

When you really think about it, there aren't that many "original" stories around here these days. Almost every book is based on one thing or another. But there is a difference between basing your book on someone else's work, and claiming someone else's work as entirely your own. That's what true plagiarism is.
Well, so far, no one's really accused me of plagiarizing. But yeah, best brace myself. And I'm re-doing this strip: making it longer, more detailed, showing that it's more of my own thing rather than a rip-off of "The Last Unicorn". Don't worry, I'm keeping this here; I'm just making a new copy. It's good to compare my old art with my new art, and see how far I've come, and what can yet be improved on. It's a good exercise.

I used to be a real Scooby-Doo nut as a kid. I used to run up and kiss the TV screen whenever I saw him. I still like him today, but I'm a bit more mature about it. We actually watched "Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase" last night.
