Darkness falls across the landThe midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood

Well, they're evil creatures, so what else can you expect?
The eyes were the toughest to do in this. I wanted to do a little "glow" effect, and I struggled with this for several days before I finally got it right. I just used different shades of yellow and used the gradient tool, then I took a bright yellow, dulled the opacity of the brush to about 25%, and brushed lightly over the eyes; then finally I sprayed them over with the "mist" brush from *redheadstock . I tried to make the eyes in the second panel glow as well, but somehow it didn't turn out quite so well. So, I just misted them over, and left it at that.
Did that make any sense?
