Since I sold my first Megatron, I thought I'd make another for myself. I'd only be happy with selling the first one if my new one was better, so I did some real custom work on this one rather than just repainting it.
Probably the first thing you notice is he has a hand with fingers. I used more references, including frames from him in the movie trailer, so there is more gold, dirt, and rust details, and his hand looks more like the CGI model. Used 2 part epoxy to make the attachment that both makes his forearm bigger and gives him fingers to go around the single claw he had. There is also an attachment on his shoulder that makes it slightly bigger. It pops right on and off too.
I spent more time on his face this time around too.

Added comparison pics here. As you can see I got him as close to the Render as possible, but I didn't want to make him quite as dirty and dark because shiny silver is what makes Megatron Megatron IMO.
