Her fur it longer, particularly around her neck, however she grooms it flat on her body to make her more streamlined and elegant.

Nix's body is typical of a rouge wolf, more slender than your average pack wolf - but not due to lack of muscle but rather a lack of fat. Nix however isn't the most visably muscly wolf either as she never trained excessively in fighting.

Scent: Very faint overall
She doesn't carry any strong scents. Nix has learnt that it gives away your position to prey, and so washes a lot to keep any scents from staying on her.

Voice: Heather Headley
Her voice is a deep strong female voice, however it is more monotone around most people - akin to the character Roz's (from Monster's Inc) lack of tone and responce ([link] ).

One thing that you are likely to first notice is the apparent emotionless gaze she has. She maintains this expression of neutrality mostly around those she doesn't know as well. A smile is uncommon in everyday life if nothing in particular has happened to bring about a happy thought. Apart from their silvery pelt, Nix stands out from others by the way she presents herself. Her movements are very controlled, but still seem somewhat fluid. Her head naturally hangs around the submissive height unless she feels mocked, undermined, or if she is in important ceremonies and meetings. In those situations she holds her head high in a position of power and pride. Whether she actually feels that way varies. Personality:
Nix first and foremost is very conscious about how others view her. Therefore, she seems strict and loyal upon any first encounters. She holds the principle "a pack is only as strong as its members" in high regard and hence favours following orders in order to secure pack security and strength. However, in situations when she feels those accompanying her aren't focusing on the matter at paw she will try and assume a position of leadership in order to get them back on track.
This is also why she fully participates in the pack ceremonies, as the events are important bonding and socialising events that bring the pack together. She isn't too interested in making friends, and when wolves settle down into their activities for these events she will reside as more of an onlooker, learning about her pack members through observing them.
She doesn't respond well to outsiders and traitors, and will try to belittle them. She believes the other two packs to be savages, and since she doesn't like violence, she tends to stereotype them. This exposes one weakness on her part that if you somehow got past that stereotype, she would be more likely to waver in her loyalty; however as it is a strong part of the facade she puts up, it would need to be convincing otherwise she would just assuming you were lying.
She loves water, and tends to hunt around the outskirts of the lakes. Pre-group History:
Nix's pup-hood started off like most from a family of lone wolves. She had her father and mother and 2 brothers and they resided on a dry plains that had harsh droughts through much of the year. Her parents came from a pack that had dissolved when the harsh weather begun, however they had chosen to stay in the area in honour of the late pack. Hence, when their pups were old enough, the parents encouraged them to think on which role in the pack they would trained in. In particular, the father hoped that if they were ready, if another pack formed that they would all be able to join in respectable positions.
Whilst initially interested in being a beta as any young pup would, Nix forgave the place to one of her brothers and instead trained in hunting. Her mother would teach her the different skills and paths she had to take to find prey, whilst her father would instil in the pups an admiration for pack life through stories and accounts. Nix never truly believed in the stories, but thought them quaint and something she should strive towards; and for a while, was content training and hunting under her parents guidance.

Coming up to her second year, a hard drought caused prey to diminish even more than normal - or so her parents said. Whilst her brothers knew no better, Nix out on hunting trips had seen the true source of the shortage. Strange beast of vibrant colour, shining with the sun, had been digging a warren from horizon to here and likely on still. The biggest were huge with large claws - likely a bear based on her parent's descriptions - although they were shiny and yellow. "Sun bears" was what she dubbed them. It took many wolves to overcome just one bear, but this many? It was no surprise that her parents eventually decided the family should move away. However, Nix didn't agree. Unlike her brothers, she knew what they were running from, and like a rabbit runs from a wolf, the worst thing you could do it carry on forward. They would easily be able to chase you. Turning around and running the way they came from? The "Sun bears" would never think to check their own warren for her. And so she split away from her family and ran down the black stripe to the horizon.
At first Nix stayed away from the stripe, unsure of what to make of it. There wasn't prey around it anyway, so she would have to wander away from it to hunt and find water. Instead, she would look to other animals for guidance, following birds as they flew to find food and water sources. One day however, her curiosity got the better of her and Nix placed a paw out on the black stripe - only to recoil it back in surprise. It was hot - burning even. But... oddly suiting for the warren of the "Sun bears". It gave her new-found confidence walking safely along it.

Eventually Nix arrived upon a strange territorial marking along the road. It was faint, however she could just make out the scents of not one but many wolves. Her thoughts ran wild: was this one of those loyal and honourable packs that her parents had spoken off? Nix camped by the border, in excitement and anticipation of any pack wolves that would come to the border.
Her first "pack wolf" was not what she expected. The wolf had been wary of her, even... scared? What he said following that shocked her further. There were three packs in the area that had just come out of war. A war? She could barely hide her disgust and disappointment at the very thought. And over something wolves should never fight over on that scale! The she-wolf ran off before the end of the tale could be recounted.

Nix remained far off in the shallow valley's of the mountains, away from the "Sun bear"'s Warren and those savage packs. In this period of time she continue to refine her hunting, however avoided fighting out of the disgust the action now brought to mind. She also learnt many new terms, like what an actual bear looked like. However, as much as she wanted to move away, she could not deny that many of the herds and flocks seemed to migrate through the land.
This all came together when one year a sharp winter forced her closer to the pack-lands. The she-wolf was surprised to find one of the pack existed even in the parched lands as she had come to call it. When did this happen? Why did they chose to live somewhere where the lack of water surely restricted their prey? From all her travels she had always focused on the next waterhole, the next herd. Did they get push up there by other wolves... or perhaps they found worth in the challenge?
This thought process and confusion continued until she found herself by the road again, something very familiar to her past. It seemed like ages since she had gone along it and she had matured significantly so it no longer had the same awe or novelty as before. No, now as an adult she could better comprehend the risks of having to travel along it. The road had forced her family to run away from the territory altogether yet these packs still existed so close to it. Her mind travelled back to that pack. Not only was its territory drier than the rest but it was also near the road and strange rock dwellings of the 'Sun bears'. They surely would have left entirely if they were just here for territory. There was something she was missing, something that kept them strong and firm in such harsh conditions.

Pride. Strength. Betterment.

Her mind was hopefully once again that this could be a pack of honour, however she wasn't as keen to rush in before. She would stake out their borders, and if they stood out as different from how she had heard from the war then she would know that this was a pack like the ones told in stories. This inspection lasted many moon cycles, and no doubt did not go unnoticed by the wolves of the Ty'Koga pack.
Nix knew she would thrive in a pack with such determination. On that day, she approached some pack members on a border patrol and inquired of their leader.

She would stake out their borders, and if they stood out as different from how she had heard from the war then she would know that this was a pack like the ones told in stories. This inspection lasted many moon cycles, and no doubt did not go unnoticed by the wolves of the Ty'Koga pack.
