Love the design, really fits in with the rest of it. Still want to commission a pair, just need to get a new job first XD

glad you like the design, still need to actually make this part for the original. hopefully that's gonna happen before summer
but as with crafts, you never know what problems you're gonna run into. I started out once, but with way thicker plate than the hand. It proved to be very reluctant to bend. as a result, I had a lot of toolmarks on the first piece, and I binned it for now.

Ahh, that sucks. Yeah, certain metals can be a bit tricky to work with. Either you make it too thin and it bends at every touch, or you make it too thick and you can barely move it. Di you try heating the plates a little? I mean, not enough for it to blacken, but enough to maybe get it a bit easier to work with?

that is an option, but then a hammer would be the only tool up for the job.
what I did think up thanks to this comment, is that I could just make them with toolmarks and all, and then just grind the marks away with a grinder. then I can polish the works without any remains visible.
it's more work, but it will work.

I've always loved bracers like that - I've even put boots on characters where the shin part looks like that.

I'd say do it -Looks nice, and fits in with the rest of the design.
