Honestly, I think it’s Error based on my, and several others, idea that Template is just a younger version of Error. The quality of this is amazing and I can’t wait for the next page!

Template is not a younger version of Error as in "he's 4 years younger" or anything. In the anti void, time doesn't exactly exist.

Man! So many possibilities of who could be behind that voice.
Honestly its 4 different possibilities for me:
-Inside his head: A voice taunting him and leading him astray
-Ink of some sort: Super unlikely honestly- I wouldnt expect a multiversal crossover to be the plot of the first comic- not that I would be against such a thing, it would just be unexpected pffhaha!
-Dream??: I saw it mentioned in a comment below and honestly- a Dream within Template's multiverse is an entirely blank slate- who knows what he could be like or what his motives are! Same goes for Nightmare in this case. But I've also never seen you show too much interest in Dreamtale in the past, so I wouldn't assume this to be the answer at first glance
-A new outcode: A character specific to Template and Pale's multiverse that doesn't have to do with pre-existing characters
Whoever it is, they have a lot of info about Template, meaning they've been watching him for a while. A voice in his head is what best fits this, but it could also be an external character who's just been paying reeeal good attention to him. They also say they travel AUs as well, meaning it has to be an outcode (or just a voice tagging along with template). They also seem to follow a certain "job" of some sort, meaning they have a purpose of some sort. A purpose which serves a negative impact. Speech pattern offers a little bit about how they act: They definitely sound like they think they're above Template. Sounds like a parent talking to a child.

Aside from that, we have theories about it being Pale, Error, Nightmare and I think someone mentioned Dream as well?
Other people thought it might be Reaper but I can assure you that this is wrong because he doesn't travel AUs as far as I know ovo

oof. I don't think it's Pale because he probably would have destroyed that AU by now or something. Plus he can't exactly feel emotions and he doesn't exactly do anything that someone should but doesn't "appreciate." I really don't think it's Nightmare because why would he have a normal conversation and not just attack? And when has he ever done "good" in the AUs? Dream just seems unlikely because, again, he probably wouldn't hide and he doesn't exactly talk like that. Error would probably do the same as Nightmare after a bit but the dialogue would also be glitchy. And, once again, he wouldn't really say the stuff the random figure is saying XP I think it's Ink because he actually does good in the AUs and, legit, some characters don't like it. Plus, he can kind-of mimic emotions and the speech bubble isn't glitchy or goopy or black or whatever XP Not to mention that Ink hides in random areas in AUs so no one sees him and he doesn't disrupt the timeline X3 If I'm wrong then oof.
