Description
Quite obviously, a closeup view of the top of the stargate, with the iris (which by the way took ages to get correct), just slightly in view.Yes, BTW - the iris is fully animatable, and works! WOO!

I have one in .MOV format with sound and the Event horizon. Is it possible to upload movie files or am I just dreaming?

Ok - paste this link into your browser and download.
You must have WinRAR to extract, and if memory serves its either in MOV format or divx. Cant quite remember (I Know the full-resolution one is in MOV format though...not that it helps!
To the link:
[link] =36356
...Enjoy.

ok.. i downloaded it now i'll go get winrar
(guess it helps to have both winzip and win rar) does winrar give a higher compression rate or somink?

Yea, on many files WinRAR offers much better compression than that of WinZIP.

that video its so good.. its looks so much like the real one.
i didn't expect the water effect on the inside
you should try and animate something going through it (although the interaction between the object and the water could be tricky)

Actually that would probably be easier to create than what the iris itself was! I would suspect tat ide have to use some space-warp deformers. quite easy to do sinse i used the "ripple" space deformer about 2 years ago! GO ME!
Sinse the scene is set up already - what do u want to see going through it? keep it simple because my modeling isn't anything fantastic!
If you have a MALP model or something or know where I can get something from - email me!
