See Nick? I'm using thin lines...
I'm going to get either thanked or shot for this...and I'm really not sure which one it's going to be.
This is ~AriadneArca 's character Rowan MacCall, aka The Red [link] . Normally she's not quite so flamboyant (that's more May's department) but mayhap her alter-ego Red is rubbing off on her...just a bit. 
*(In point of fact, this was actually supposed to be a Demonic Red drawing, but her expression turned out to be so darned playful...
) I have SO MANY other things I need to be drawing, and believe me, I am working on them, but this...just would not go away. Ever since I saw this page [link] of Ari's LoT spectator comic, Rowan has been quite insistent on being drawn, and I really can't regret spending the time on it!

This is really gorgeous. The costume choice reminds me of phoenix from ex men, GIVEN the visual cues for that character involve a lot of flame as well was that intentional?

You're right, the Red and the Phoenix have a lot in common, but I wasn't thinking of Jean when I drew this costume...I was actually thinking more along the lines of a costume from the Arabian Nights or from that scene in Ghostbusters, flowy and floaty (and, for Ethan, maybe somewhat enticing...).

Humm I think you possibly coul have gone floatier with a skirt rather than shorts under the veils BUT the lines of the veils and scarfs you're using do flow really nicely and it's all very well put together

brilliant! it's glowing, even though it was supposed to be demonic... very beautiful. the lack, or thin lines you use define the character with more realizism, if that makes sense...

I was talking to the other people in my living room when I saw this: "You see, Dad, the internet's not exactly slower, it just needs to be refreshed every third page... waaaaait... is that...?" *MEGA SQUEE*
I love the floaty clothes you've put her in. And I think this is actually a very good representation of Demonic!Red, because it does enjoy playing with its food. Yeeesss.

And do you notice? Step back and look a little more objectively at this; you can *perceive* more detail in this than in a few of your previous that have full-body shots. Much clearer, much more open to the eye, and certainly the dark lines don't impinge on the riot of flame-wash you've used so well. And also that they go far better with the lightness of the transparent fabric, much more so than any definite lining would do
It's only my opinion, but this is a definite step up ^^
