N.F.M.R. Case File
While the monster spider Cryptofuge was parading around the streets of Dubai, we were all left at complete loss. Another monster? Now? When we happen to be here, of all times? Yeah, you get the idea. . .
Anyway, the city military moved in quickly and actually partly succeeded in keeping it away from the more populated areas. The six of us had been escorted to a secure area along with the scientist studying the monster remains, where we were able to witness the conflict from relative safety, as well as. . . no small degree of comfort. We were on top of a rather nice skyscraper on the coastal side of the city.
Well, the military succeeded in getting it out into the desert again, the creature surprisingly nonresistant to the prodding, but when it got out into the more open regions, we were surprised at a sudden sight.
From underneath the sands beneath its feet, five blade-tipped tendrils as thick around as power towers shot out, wrapping the arachnid and bringing it to the ground with some force. A massive whip scorpion, looked to be a hybrid of tailed and tailless, had buried itself in the dunes outside the city during the confusion, and emerged from underneath the red menace to apprehend him. The camel spider seemed completely flabbergasted, struggling to free its blade like legs and get away from the Mega Vinegaroon's. . . wait, Mega. . .roon? I like it. . .

The two arachnids were at each others throats the whole time, attempting to subdue and envenomate the opponent. But, something stood out to me. I can say with confidence that I have witnessed the single highest number of monster clashes, and most were very random and chaotic. In Rio, Gladion just wandered in and avoided the military and later Ragido until provoked. Ringo and Starr were sudden growths from the central park zoo, and they just leaped from building to building. But this, this was different.
For one, Cryptofuge appeared within feet of us, and from a different source, unlike the others who emerged over time.
Second, why, when a monster hasn't been out for two hours, does another monster, one related to the other to boot, appear with single-minded determination to undo the other. This was different from the chaotic events we'd dealt with before. This one just reeked of intelligence, like something, or someone, was behind this. And, knowing our luck, we soon found out just how right that was...
Heh, looking back, I really am starting to sound like Frank more. . .

(note: Well, while working on requests and realizing that I had these old files on stockpile, I thought I would entertain you with a few of these until I get these uploaded.
Design-wise, I stuck to the simple on this one. I figured simple works when you are fighting a standard camel spider. She's both types of whip-scorpion, tailess and vinegaroon, in one. I've seen a whipscorpion monster before, but not so often to be a copy. As far as arachnids go, they're rare in the kaiju world.
Megaroon, she's not particularly important to the story, but she does play one important role, and that is her appearance is the sign of a rather important character's approach. Next time, though. Next time.

Interesting, it sounds like something or someone is playing god with kaiju making and seems to like having an audience.
I rather like her, then again you have a kickass female kaiju with whips flying all over the place. lol I also find it funny that we both had similar ideas, taking branches of teh scorpion family, then turning a member into a badass female kaiju.
Design wise, her legs look a little stumpy, however, I doubt you would need to move much when just about every angle is covered by lightning fast stinging death!
Color me impressed my friend, but what kaijuverse if really complete without a giant scorp bopping around?

Playing god usually involves seeking an audience, I would laugh evilly if I wouldn't feel like a fool.
Yeah, you uploaded a sea scorpion earlier. That is hilarious, that we both had the same thing going!
Indeed, scorpions are like spiders with more points of attack included, my personal favorite arachnids are scorpy's, after all.
Yeah, I was a little iffy on the legs myself when I first finished, but I figured she doesn't need to move much, she spends much of her time in caverns and uses the whips for self defense.

Bug fights are always awesome. This would make the second whip scorpion based kaiju I've seen and she's pretty effective.

The second, eh? I knew there were more out there, I just didn't know there were that few. Cool.
Indeed, bug fights= pure awesome. Best part is that there are plenty of filmed cases of bug fights, I read that North African troops in WWII made bets in fights between scorpions and camel spiders that they kept captive. Not sure how true it all is, but still, neat fact.

The Japanese have bug pit fights with all sorts of critters. Beetles and centipedes fight tarantulas and scorpions. It's pretty brutal shit with them foaming and stuff.
