Have you ever been out in public, and while you are going about your business, you suddenly hear a familiar voice? You know, you turn to see, and find out it's nothing important, or anyone you know, and yet it still sounds so familiar, hauntingly even?
Well, that is what we all claim happened to us that day in Dubai. It started when the local military attempted to eliminate the duo of dueling arachnids. the tanks rolled up across the dunes, but suddenly, they stopped. The military command reported to us later that the soldiers were all radioing in, claiming to all be hearing voices, or rather, A voice.
Weird thing is, we believed them, because the voice reached us next. It wasn't really made up of any words, nor sounds, it was more of. . . thought. Like someone was talking in our heads. It wasn't really saying anything, either, and I don't know how it sounded to anyone else, but, to me, it sounding comforting and. . . familiar. Then, everything, the entire scope of this whole monster deal, changed. . .

Whoo, daddy, I do not know if I can describe this next moment with justice. But, I shall try, for success shall prove to taste most awesome.
The two arachnids out in the dunes were responding very differently. Cryptofuge was reeling as though in pain, and Megaroon was calm and placidly facing out to the desert, where it seemed a killer sandstorm was brewing. Though, it wasn't, in fact it quickly formed into a tight sphere and flew faster than the eye could see into Cryptofuge, sending the bugger flying into the nearby Arabian gulf, vanishing under the waves. Shocking? Yes, but not so much as what caused it to happen.
It was. . . a golem, or something. A giant red crystal man, with almost no facial features and a long tail that ended in a set of jaws. That was shocking enough. Then I started hearing the voice in my head, again.
"Peace be with you all. I am Sheymir, I come from the stars to offer my aid. Much has happened in these days, I'm sure that these creatures have disturbed you a great deal."
It knew English.
"I must apologize, for there is much to answer for."
It then turned to the Whip Scorpion, saying,
"You may go, you have done well and you may enjoy your prize."
And it went, just like that. The military called out to the giant with megaphones, asking, I'm pretty sure at least, if he had anything to do with the attack. He then said something that both frightened and excited me to my core.
" I created her. Much of what you've seen thus far was born of myself, at least somewhat. I was asleep for what seemed an endless time, until I gathered myself, and saw what I had done. I apologize from the bottom of myself."
Things got reeeeeaaaaalllll nutsy from there. . .

(note: Anyone remember this guy? I drew him for the first time back in November last year, actually he's based from the 'what kind of giant monster are you?' quiz I came across. I got a psychic alien humanoid under one name, so this dude was born with a little imagination and a lot of time on the chopping board.
On a scale of 1 to 10, this guy's an 11 in terms of importance to the story. The meteor shower that caused most of the mutations, he is a consciousness of that comet the meteors came from. His origins are still left unsaid by me, simply because the narrators of these files are not omniscient, you learn as they learn, unless I feel generous. His origin is a wonky one.
And, for anyone who's read the other files, Paul Gregory is remarkably similiar to this guy, because the two are somewhat connected. It will take a while to explain, possibly requiring a study for the race itself.
Well, that's all I can think of for now. Enjoy, for the plot takes off after this.

Yeah, I'm glad to bring him back. The design was meant to look alien, so I think this look works much better than the last one.

It sure does, though the original design wasn't that bad.

I like the update...and the fact he is now bald!
All and all this is quite an improvement I think over his last design, seems more alien and original. In any case it is rare to find a smooth looking rock/magma based kaiju, but low and behold here one is!

a cue-ball monster is not a common site, and yet they rock so many socks...
Improvement, yes. Very much so.

I find he's more alien now, with the crystal hair missing and all lol. But I can take him a bit more seriously now and he's an intriguing idea for a kaiju. Sometimes being intelligent hurts. Things just got a bit more interesting...
