Story:
The coolness in the air spread a fair familiarity in Raphaels chest, Norway isn't that much different than Finland after all, who would have thought? With the elements to his favour nothing should go wrong. Cheasad was well fed during the weeks of their stay and he could tell the same about himself, both in their best condition and charged with lots of strenght. Everything in their favour. Except for ten sneaky little punks who seemed to listen to noone, not even a mountain of muscles charging at them. Those brats had Raphael at the binge of quitting countless of times, but the image of a snazzy Ragnar back at the start line who's judging him with a spark in his eyes always made him endour those Reindeer a little bit longer. You simply ain't fail when the chef of TPS can see you. Or when your friends see you crawling back on your knees because you couldn't put up with fancy northern goats.
They rode, after the first few teams headed out in the wilderness in the early morning, and hardly made their way through planes and shrubs and rivers. A good thing was the one true fact about Reindeer that made him happy; they always followed the highest in rank, or at least so he guessed. Steering the few leading Reindeer was enough to make the rest follow, and so it was almost a bearable journey throughout the day. Except when they didn't, and when some ran off, or one decided it was bedtime. 2 hours before the race ends and your still in the middle of nowhere.
Raphael still doesn't like Reindeers.
